We stayed at Be Live Adults Only Tenerife for 7 nights in late February/early March 2026 as a TUI holiday. As adults-only, it provided a relaxed, no-kids vibe, which was nice. Positives: • Plenty of seating both indoors and out by the pool and terraces. • On-site shop and car hire facilities were convenient. • Just a short 3-400m walk to the seafront/Playa Jardín – great location for exploring Puerto de la Cruz. • Snooker tables (payable), a quiet library area, and a supermarket only a few hundred metres away. • Bus station nearby for easy trips around the island. We paid a small €10/night upgrade for a sea view room, which was worth it for the better outlook. Negatives/Issues: • The pool wasn’t heated during our visit (February), so it was too cold for comfortable swimming in cooler weather. • Rooms are dated and showing their age – tired decor and limited fresh air (opening the balcony door lets in a lot of traffic noise from the road below). • Air conditioning is basic on/off rather than temperature-controlled. • Traffic noise was noticeable in rooms regardless of floor or side. • Elevators were unreliable at times, and there are steps between the main lobby/dining areas despite lifts being available. • Public toilets on both ground and main floors often had bad smells. • We noticed unpleasant sewerage odours around the hotel at various times, especially strong on our departure day. • Meal times felt later than we’re used to in other hotels, and gluten-free options (bread/desserts) were very limited but available on request. • The pool area is overlooked by neighbouring apartments, and local excursions booked through the hotel seemed pricier than elsewhere. • Long transfer from Tenerife South airport (expect 1.5+ hours). Overall, it’s a convenient base for a low-key adults-only holiday in a good spot near the beach and town. The staff were generally fine, but the hotel feels like it could use some updating and maintenance. We’d probably look for something more modern next time, but it suited our needs for relaxation and exploring the north of Tenerife. Would return? Maybe, if expectations are managed.

Really good. Service was excellent at the reception and maintainance was there in 5 minutes when I wanted the tv tuning. Breakfast was very plentyful with a excellent selection but unfortunately hot food was cold as the bain marie apereared to be at the wrong setting every day. Had evening meal once, good value if you are hungry that was hot thankfully. A good location to the local town and beach and a huge cheap supermarket hyper Dino very close. Rooms really clean.

Absolutely awful experience – this hotel completely ruined our holiday. We booked a 4-day stay at Be Live Hotel Tenerife and ended up leaving after the first night because the conditions were so bad. The room had a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom which made it extremely unpleasant to stay in. The room was also freezing cold with no heating and only one thin blanket provided for two people. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable and we barely slept at all. The room looked very poorly maintained, with visible stains on the curtains and marks on the walls which made the whole place feel dirty and neglected. To make matters worse, the lift was not working while we were placed on the 9th floor, which made getting to and from the room very difficult. The buffet food was also extremely disappointing – often cold and very poor quality. When we tried to raise the issues with staff, communication was very difficult and nothing was properly resolved. We reported the problems to reception and also contacted our travel provider during our stay, but no effective solution was offered. In the end we had no choice but to leave the hotel and pay more out of our own pocket for alternative accommodation just to salvage the rest of our holiday. This situation meant that we lost half of our short trip dealing with stress, phone calls and trying to find another place to stay. Overall this was a very frustrating and disappointing experience and I would strongly advise others to think carefully before booking here. I have also formally raised this issue with the travel provider and will escalate the complaint through independent dispute resolution if a fair outcome is not reached. I will update this review once the matter has been resolved.

I stayed here for Christmas 2025 Be Live Adults Only is rated as a 5-star hotel, but based on my experience, I wouldn’t even rate it as a 1-star hostel. The hotel is very outdated and in need of serious renovation. The floor in the room needs replacing, as does the bathroom door. The mattresses were extremely poor — one felt like sleeping on a concrete floor, and after just three nights, the other mattress started sinking. Housekeeping standards were unacceptable. The cleaning staff clearly need proper training. To test whether the floor was being cleaned, I left a small piece of chocolate near the fridge, and it remained there for three days. The sink was never properly cleaned, and neither were the glasses in the bedroom or the bathroom. The food was consistently cold, which was very disappointing. The hotel is also a long distance from the airport — around 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes away. The shuttle service took over 3 hours on arrival and more than 2 hours on the return journey. Tenerife itself is a lovely place, but unfortunately this hotel was a major disappointment and did not come close to meeting its 5-star rating.

I had a very enjoyable stay at the BeLive Adults only hotel. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was comfortable with a beautiful sea view. The food in the restaurant was perfectly adequate, there was always something appetezing. I enjoyed every meal. I was on HB and was very satisfied and surprised at the low prices for the drinks I had. The cleaner kept my room clean and tidy every day. All in all, I was extremely satisfied with my stay.
