You get what you pay for. There's only 1 guy who is mainly running the entire place who i think is the owner. Hes a bit gruff but genuine and kind as long as you arent rude. They speak limited English but check in process was very smooth and easy. You will come to see most residents of this town are the same, many are seniors too. Not a very touristy town. There's 2 grocery stores within 5 minutes walk and 1 general store. Maybe 5-10 restaurants within 15 min walk. Its a sleepy town but good to recharge for a few days. There's a town market on Mondays and on the Friday I was here there was a town festival with many people in town seated down. It was adorable, kind of like animal crossing. Regarding rooms, they were fine. Bathroom downstairs and the room smelled funky but I dont think they were necessarily dirty.

I stayed here for a couple of nights and it was perfect. The host was very friendly and helpful, and we felt right at home. The location of the hostel is great, easily accessible even by bus. There is a supermarket right around the corner and the town centre with multiple bars and restaurants is a two minute walk. Plus, Montuïri is a very cute town, it’s beautiful and not at all touristy. All in all we were very happy with what we got for our money and we will definitely be coming back here in the future!

I didn't do any reservations in advance, but since I came there by myself, they were able to find me a bed in a 6 bed dorm. The rooms were clean and tidy. Since the building is constructed in an open way, you have like several "balconies" with little hangout areas, where it's easy to meet people. The don't have a kitchen to cook for yourself, but a cafe/bar in the bottom floor, where they serve fresh coffee and some easy dishes/breakfast. Even though the signs said you're not allowed to bring your own food, they didn't feel bothered when we ate with a group of people on the balcony. I also saw one of the the other guests asking the owner to heat some food up in the microwave of the cafe...so they see it quite relaxed

A wonderful hostel in a wonderful place - well out of the hustle and bustle in a tiny town, with gorgeous scenery. The hostel is fresh, clean, spacious and well kept. Everything from the bedding to the bathrooms is kept spic-and-span The breakfast was great with lots of fresh fruit and variety, as well as the owner/manager(?) heading to the bakery and providing us with fresh croissants and other goodies. The only downside was that the staff do not speak great English. As it is a non-native English-speaking country I won't use that to affect the review (as others have), as the staff were otherwise helpful and friendly. I would also recommend going by car - luckily I had a car hire for my journey, but I didn't spot much public transport whilst there and it has some great vistas you might miss otherwise.

It was my worst experience living in a hostel. The bus connections to the place are not so good and even if you have a car, you will face too much trouble finding a parking place nearby. The staff will not support you at all finding a parking place or any other problem you face for that matter. If you ask too much questions to the staff, they will get angry and will start shouting at you. Now about the rooms, they are very small and can get very hot during the summers and that fan cant help it any better. HANDS DOWN NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!
