Rooms were basic at best, food wasn’t great considering the price we paid for all inclusive, also made me VERY unwell after eating. hotel is at the top of a giant hill so if you have mobility issues you will struggle a lot. Rooftop bar we visited on 3 separate occasions and they didn’t have the correct alcohol in for the cocktails that were on their small menu. The maids were rude and refused to give us clean towels even though staff sent us to them to get some, pool bad food was rock solid and cold. Waste of 3 thousand pound and a disappointing first time abroad I have photos to back up ALL these points
Rooms are clean, however the walls are paper thin and can hear the people next door getting frisky as if I’m at a red light show in Amsterdam. At night when you try to get your young child to sleep, they will most likely be awoken by other extremely rude guests shouting in the corridor at midnight. Apparently Hotel management are happy for theft to occur on their premises. Had my sunglasses stolen right under a CCTV camera, and the staff for what ever reason could not have been less helpful and rude. If you do decide to stay here, do not go all inclusive, the food is horrendous and is barely ok to serve to a starving street dog. The pool is a decent size for the hotel, but requires a good clean as a nice layer of black mold can be found at the water line. You cannot wear sunglasses in the pool for some odd reason. Whilst chilling at one of their indoor seating areas, the glass table top exploded randomly. Although I admit that this could happen to any piece of toughened glass (seen it before) The hotel manager did not seem overly concerned about our welfare, considering 2 of the group had shards of glass in their leg and foot. If you do stay here and decide you want to visit port aventura world, my advice would be - be standing on the kerb for the shuttle bus in the morning. People turn into animals when trying to get on a free bus to a theme park. Furthermore, the express pass is definitely worth it for the theme park. You will get on at least 3-4 times more rides in the day than someone who doesn’t. The location is not bad, and is about the only positive thing I have to say about the place. Best advice would be to avoid if possible. Happy holidays!
Very pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed the holiday here, staff were pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms yes, they are smaller, but nothing different to what is shown on the website. Aircon was lovely and cold, beds comfy and rooms cleaned well daily. Food was good enough, lovely selection, by day 6/7 It was samely but hey its all inclusive and not breaking the bank, kids ate well too and lots of drink options including lots of 'Zero' options. Great stay and a thumbs up from us as a family of 6 staying we'd highly recommend. Location great too, 10 mins to beach and quite a pleasant 15/20 min walk to Portaventura world (uphill there) downhill back)
Room was just a little small for 3 people but we managed. Clean, regular housekeeping to change towels and make beds. Front desk very helpful with any issues. Pool area very busy as times and water is very cold however once in the pool it’s fine. Buffet breakfast and dinner.. lots on offer to suit all ages and tastes.
Just returned from a week here with my partner and 2 kids (ages 13 and 7) and we had a fantastic time. While the pool is busy we always managed to get a sun lounger without joining in the sunbed wars. To be fair to management they have taken steps to stop people reserving sunbeds. The food is lovely and there was always a variety to choose from. Every single member of staff from cleaners to reception to bar and restaurant staff were always friendly and helpful. I would go as far as to say they are some of the nicest staff we have ever encountered abroad. We will definitely return here and would have no problem recommending this hotel to our friends and family.
