Only 3 stars to motivate you to impropre. Room a bit old fashion, mini kitchen but wothout coffee/tea available (but a clear sign that you have to place only water in the kettler), bathroom to check (heating system from the wall, tiles joint) Service : staff seems very professional, breakfast quality at a very good level (daily changes in the menu). But there is no spa part of the hotel, you have to pay extra! 15€/1 hour!!! For a mini-pool and a jacuzzi! Total scam! Place very well located, close to the center of la Laguna, bus stop and large parking available.

Rooms are big and comfortable but should be more thoroughly cleaned between customers. The staff is very reactive and friendly. Breakfast was very good. I was a little disappointed that the indoor pool advertised on Google was part of the spa at extra cost. Access to the spa has to be booked - not really spontaneous for holidays.

I often stay at another hotel in La Laguna, but this time the Nivaria was cheaper and it had breakfast included. It is a nice looking hotel at a good location for the city and with nice staff. But my criticism is mainly due to some problems that the hotel could easily fix: 1. You only get one of those wall-attached generic soap dispensers for the shower, and the same for the sink. At a 4* hotel I would expect to at least have the usual 3 dispensers attached to the wall for soap, shampoo and conditioner. I'm not asking for premium brands, but with the current product at the very least you will need to bring some conditioner with you or buy it locally. 2. The only sockets by the side tables are used by the bedside lamps. So if you want to charge your phones while you sleep, as many (most?) of us do, you will need to unplug those and only use the ceiling lights which are very harsh for right before bed or first thing in the morning use. Providing outlet extenders or a small power strip for those sockets would make the rooms more usable. 3. I was only able to sleep until my 8:15/8:30am alarm one day of my stay. The remaining days, we were woken up around 8 or before by the cleaning crew talking or moving folding beds in the corridors. The corridor floor is stone, which looks beautiful but also amplifies sound. So the early crew activity meant we were woken up most days too early. And this is the one reason why I will not get back to this hotel, I expect to sleep during holidays as long as I need. If you are only in town for one day, this is a perfectly nice hotel. But if you are staying more days you will miss hair conditioner and enough sleep. These should be easy fixes for the hotel.

Considering that La Laguna Gran Hotel is only a minute away with comparable pricing and a significantly better experience, I felt this hotel did not offer good value for money.
