  When you walk into reception and see the through view all the way to the water you know you are going to have a fantastic stay. The fresh scent in the reception area just added to the ambience. Although we arrived early before our room was ready check in was quick and easy thanks to the friendly staff. Our studio room was ideal and the balcony had a stunning view over the water. The only thing that let the room down was the twin beds pushed together instead of the double expected. The room and hotel in generally was extremely clean. Plenty of selection of food for breakfast and although we had half board we only had dinner twice as we were busy exploring the surrounding area but we enjoyed the nights we were there and again the Hotel food was perfectly acceptable. We generally had a nightcap each evening on our return to the hotel and sat on the roof terrace overlooking the sea and soaking in the stunning views morning or night and indeed we were even lucky enough to see dolphins which really made my partners trip by itself. Overall this was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable stays we have had. We would thoroughly recommend to couples , family's and indeed anyone looking for an escape. The trip was so good we didn't want it to finish and will happily return. Thank you.

  Myself and 4 mates stayed here for a long weekend and it certainly exceeded expectations. The bedrooms and inhouse facilities were all spotless and pleasant. Staff were friendly and helpful. The view was worth every penny. The breakfast sorted us out every morning, we never needed lunch. Great food and even better mojitos.. There's a convenience shop by the hotel entrance which was good for snacks and water etc. The absolute highlight of our stay had to be the range of FREE in house activities available. All the entertainment staff were friendly and approachable but a massive shout out to Anna who literally catered to our ever need like we'd just walked into her own house. Anna had a natural ability to rouse us from our hungover rotting on the sunbeds to go kayaking, paddleboarding, archery, ping pong and darts which we were very grateful for, she also gave great restaurant and bar recommendations in the local area. Anna actually made our holiday and went above and beyond what was expected of her role! We will definitely be returning here next year, I think I made it obvious why, honestly can't fault it.. Thanks Anna!

  Last day in this hotel and counting the minutes before we check out. I just can't wait to get out of this horrible hotel. Ive stayed in a lot of hotels over the years and this is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I usually stay in a 4 star hotel but years back when I couldn't afford a 4 or 5 star hotel, I or we would stay in a 2/star hotel and i think I would rate them much higher than this hotel. Let's start with the service. Absolutely non existent! The reception ordered us a taxi to go to Marineland for the day. We and along with one other family we're outside were waiting for the taxi that they said they ordered for us. An hour and a half went by and no taxi arrived for any of us so we asked the reception how long the taxi is going to be and they said that they cancelled our taxi because the taxi company they were using was prioritising the ones going to the airport. It wasn't ideal but we would have understood IF the receptionist informed us of this but they didn't so we wasted our time waiting for a taxi that never arrived because we didn't know that the reception cancelled them. We had to find our way to the bus stop and make our way there because we already have our ticket booked for the marineland for the day. We got to Marineland at half 1 in the afternoon! Waste of a day ticket!!! 2nd complain - the room, the light/electric kept going out. Waking up in the middle of the night sweating We informed the reception and nothing happened. The light/electric keep going out throughout our duration of stay. T 3rd complaint - the bedding - the duvet doesn't have any covers and every night we have to put this duvet over us which grosses me out!!! 4th complaint - they dont wash the cups and glasses 5th complain - this morning we had booked our "early breakfast" because we are checking out early. What they presented us were cold sandwich, cheese, apple and banana. I didn't want the food so I thought I would just have a hot drink to warm my stomach before we set of on our journey early this morning....guess what? No hot drinks were available. Leonardo royal hotel is the very worst hotel I have ever stayed in!!! We will not be coming back to this hotel. We stayed in St Lucia previously and the hotel and the service from staff and their hospitality was spot on so I'm gutted that we didn't book St Lucia this time round!

  I highly recommend this place! It’s our second stay at Leonardo, and once again everything was perfect. The rooms are cleaned daily and always spotless, the food is delicious with plenty of variety — you never have to worry about running out, even if you come later. The views are beautiful, and the location is fantastic — right next to the center and just a short walk from the beach. The staff are wonderful and always ready to help. We honestly have nothing to complain about!

  The hotel was just great — perfect location, delicious food, and friendly staff. However, the room cleaning was really disappointing. During our 8-day stay, the towels were changed every day, but the bed linen was changed only once. The room itself was never cleaned, the floor was never washed, and there was hair and dirt on the floor from the very first day.
