We recently stayed at the hotel for a week and were extremely impressed especially at the extremely high level of service and professionalism from the staff particularly Maria in the roof too bar and restaurant. She is most definitely an asset to the company. The rooms were lovely, great location and we definitely intend to stay again next year if not sooner Nige and Michelle

DO NOT STAY HERE – Extremely Disappointing Experience Although Marina Cambrils by URH is a new hotel, it’s unfortunately off to a very poor start. My partner and I stayed for two nights (Saturday and Sunday), and had it not been for unforeseen circumstances, we would have checked out after the first night. Food & Dining We ordered nachos and pulled pork, both of which arrived cold. The dishes were returned to the kitchen but came back just as cold the second time. We ultimately had to ask for the items to be removed from our bill. This is simply unacceptable, particularly in a newly opened hotel. Customer Service The front desk staff member named Emily was shockingly rude and unprofessional. While she appeared polite and attentive toward local Spanish guests, her attitude toward tourists was dismissive and disrespectful. When I requested two towels for the pool, she abruptly snapped at me and told me to “get back to the end of the queue,” which had around 20 people waiting to check in. The towels were visibly behind the reception desk, yet she refused to hand them over, forcing me to wait unnecessarily. During checkout on October 6th, Emily was wiping her nose along her sleeve while assisting guests – an unhygienic and unprofessional display. The young man helping her appeared inexperienced and uninterested, and not once were we asked how our stay had been. Cleanliness, Maintenance & Safety Concerns A strong sewage smell was present throughout the hotel, particularly near the entrance and lobby area. The odour worsened at night and could even be smelled from our room while trying to sleep — extremely unpleasant and unacceptable for any standard of accommodation. We also witnessed a guest in Room 120 smoking cigarettes inside their room, clearly visible from their balcony. I reported this to another staff member at reception, who simply shrugged and showed no concern. The smell of smoke filled the corridor — not only unpleasant but also a serious fire and safety hazard. Our room was left uncleaned one day, with no fresh towels provided. The cleaner assigned to our floor spent over five hours wandering the hallway, talking to herself and even crying at one point. She did not appear to understand English and seemed unsupervised, which was concerning. Overall Impression This hotel desperately needs proper management, staff training, and quality control. The combination of poor service, lack of hygiene, maintenance issues, and unpleasant odours made our stay extremely disappointing. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere until serious improvements are made.
Great central hotel in Cambrils. Super quiet. Ultra clean rooms. Welcoming, helpful kindly reception and hotel staff. Note.. There is not parking linked to the hotel. The carpark immediately below hotel is not part of it and is expensive. Locate another car park.
