  The room itself is stunning enough, cosy blankets and beds and lovely shower. BUT! If you book through booking.com be prepared that it is NOT in fact soundproof. Due to the hotel being close to the airport, I was concerned about the noise. But in the property details it stated it was sound proof. Unfortunately we have stayed to find it was anything but, the stomping of people upstairs and the slamming of doors literally shook the room. Not to mention the planes going past keeping us awake too. It was awful and we would like some level of compensation for this issue because we're exhausted from the lack of rest we managed to get.

  i had read a lot of mixed reviews ref parque albatros but we loved it -- plenty of sunbeds and lovely heated pool -- restaurant on site bar las dos hermanos was grand we only ate there once -- we visited castle san miguel which was brilliant -- karting club tenerife which was also brilliant they provide free transfers -- we also did aqualand which was good also -- good variety of restaurants bars in close proximity within 5 mins walk -- we went to rendezvous for breakfast, grandee o donnells, wild geese, golden bay chinise, papitas near the marina (a lot of restaurants down by marina 5 or 7 mins walk away -- as you are looking at reception door there is gate on your left if you go in that gate & go all way to bottom of complex & go out gate on far side (like a service entrance) on the left there was restaurants supermarkets etc -- 2 corivan supermarkets close by 1 out the front entrance & 1 out the back exit as well -- we booked a private apartment which was a bit of disaster but we have booked a different apartment to go again this coming year -- its on flight path that didnt bother us but there is a lot of planes flying over during the day not so much at night or maybe we just didnt hear them

  This is a well maintained location. The room has been really nice equipped with everything that you need for a family of 5. The AC unit is doing a great Job. The view is nice and the windows hold back most of the airplanes noise when they land over your head. The surroundings have everything for your daily needs as well. Nice beaches in walking distance too.

  All was just great! Swimming pool, rooms, location. Great place for families and couples. Very good to enjoy life and relax a bit.

  Personal opinion on our room so take it with a pinch of salt because these are all apartments owned by different people: I thought ours was dated, had poor air conditioning and the beds were so bad to sleep on. The kitchen and bathroom was decent spec however, as was the amazing view of the ocean. The communal poor was the best we've ever had too, reaching depths of around 8m, really spacious and a great temperature too. The Poolside cafe was also good, reasonably priced. The biggest let down was the location, other than a gym and spa nearby that can use ad-hoc at a small price, an Irish bar and a couple of your stereotypical shops, you either have to venture across hilly paths, get an expensive taxi or unreliable, albeit cheap, buses into bigger towns. It just needs a little more on your doorstep.
