Lovely hotel with newly refurbished rooms for 2025. It is certainly more geared towards younger families which you may wish to consider when booking. Very close to Sa Coma beach (5-10 mum walk) and the neighbouring village of Cala Millor is around 30-40minute walk, very pleasant along the pedestrianised & cycle path ways. Great swimming pools (none heated) outdoors and one indoors. Buffet food was probably average but the bookable restaurants were excellent, in particular La Fontana Italian restaurant which was also included in our All Inclusive package. Enjoyed the activities with driving range, mini golf and ping pong. We met fellow Scots there as well as English, German and Dutch families all enjoying their autumn break. Would definitely recommend to families with younger children, only bit that could be better is the kids beds in the apartment. These were pretty hard so not particularly comfortable.
The room I had was nice and spacious. Good view of the pool. Room tax was €46 for 7 nights 2 of us. I came with my mum and as two adults we quickly realised this is mainly for couples with small children. We still enjoyed our stay but often felt a bit odd. There were two different food halls for dinner. We got told we were in the wrong one a few times but not sure what the reason was. The food was nice there was a decent selection as well as soft drinks. The alcoholic drinks were quite weak but they were nice. There are some themed restaurants where you can book to eat for free at dinner time we did one pretty much every night which was a nice change and it was quieter. We did find two waiters in the main dining area to be off putting as it seemed they would often look at us and laugh which made us uncomfortable. I would come again if I had children of my own but otherwise I won’t be coming back. It was pretty close to the beach about a 15 min walk with loads of shops and a bus stop near the beach also. Travel to the airport is just under a hour.
Perfect Family Holiday at Protur Safari Park Hotel, Mallorca My family and I stayed here for 9 days and absolutely loved it! The hotel is part of a very large complex with several hotels and plenty of amenities — golf, tennis, bike rentals, a kids’ TUI club, evening entertainment programs, a mini disco every night, and a fantastic splash pool with park areas and lots of rides for kids. The whole place is extremely clean. The rooms have just been renovated (winter 24/25) and are spacious with a lovely balcony. Housekeeping comes daily (unless you put up the “Do Not Disturb” sign), and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s clearly designed with families and kids in mind, which made our stay so easy and enjoyable. There are five restaurants on-site: a main buffet-style restaurant plus four themed restaurants (Italian, Thai, Mexican, etc.) which need to be pre-booked. The food in the main restaurant is excellent with a wide variety that changes daily. The only small downside for us was the mattress — it was a bit too soft and gave us back pain, so we ended up sleeping on the sofas, which were firmer. But honestly, this was minor compared to everything else we loved. Overall, we had an amazing family holiday here and would absolutely return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, well-run, and very family-friendly resort in Mallorca!
Stayed in this hotel recently with a 3 year old ,and as part a party of 5. We were all inclusive, but I think I would probably rate the bed/breakfast option a 4.5 and the all inclusive a 3 star Pros: - We stayed in one of the apartment rooms. Couldn't have asked for better - fairly plain but it was big and well laid out - having a separate bedroom for the toddler was a game changer - The hotel has curb-side appeal - it looks lovely from the outside - Location is good. Is a 5-10 min walk to the beach which we enjoyed - As buffets go, it was very enjoyable although I did reach my limit after a few days Cons: - By the pool, there is euro dance music blaring. The crowd is 90% made up of either young families or grandparents - who are they trying to cater for with the music? - A big selling point were the 4-5 restaurants. However, these are small and shared amongst a number of protur hotels. It's impossible to get appointments, especially for the 2 popular ones. You need to be on the hotel's wifi to connect and reservations open at 2pm. That means you have to be sitting around the hotel in the middle of the day in the hope of getting a booking, and even at that we had success around 25% of the time. Terrible way to waste a day - All inclusive but if you want nice cocktails or beer, you will need to pay. There are only a handful of cocktails on the menu, pre mixed - anything else will cost you 5+ euro. Not a huge deal as I didn't really drink Overall, I would go back - although I would probably forego the all inclusive option and just accept I'm more likely to enjoy my meals and drink if I head out! Really clean, staff very friendly, recommended
Rooms were spacious and modern, service pretty good and location wasn't beach front (about a 10 min walk from beach), but this was fine, paths are pram friendly and flat. The reason this is a 2 star review is that the hotel isn't set up for bad weather, what I mean by this is the covers outside are for shade, they don't keep rain off, so outdoor patios where you would have drinks/food can't be used in the rain and everyone piles inside where there isn't enough room in the restaurants, and the event entertainment space can't cope with the numbers inside. I'd love to come back in the summer when the weather is good, but wouldnt want to risk it. The indoor pool is tiny and again, couldn't cope with the number of guests. Overall I'd say a nice 3 star hotel but it's not equipped for rainy days with children.
