I recently spent two weeks in Hotel Voramar, and it's a decent hotel, but there were some things where improvement is needed. We were able to enter our room at 12:00, which was nice, earlier than we're used to. The room is spatious compared to a normal hotel room: there is a living room with a small kitchenette. Furniture is basic (and the sleeping couch is rather uncomfortable to sit on), but the inclusion of a fridge is a big plus. The balcony was nice and spatious too. The biggest downside was that the water in the shower did not stay at a constant temperature, and we also sometimes didn't get soap from the cleaners (but we were able to get it at the reception). Other than that, the room was fine and clean. Wifi at the reception is free, but in your room it will cost €16 per week, which isn't too expensive. We ended up not using it though. Renting a safe in your room is not as cheap: €35 per week, which is kind of outrageous. There were plenty of activities being organised, mostly for kids. We went to an 80s evening, where someone came to perform live music, which was nice. The week after, they did another 80s evening, but then they started playing real life pac-man or something and there was no live music, so we left because we didn't find it nearly as enjoyable (maybe that time it was more kid-focused?). We also tried joining "bingo loco", but it went so fast we couldn't actually keep up with all the numbers (especially since some of them were only called out in spanish and not in english). The pool is big, but got quite busy in the late afternoon. It happened 3 times within a week where the pool was closed early because apparently a child had pooped in the water (how does that even happen 3 times?). There were lots of beds and tables with chairs, and the bar provided reasonably cheap drinks. It would be nice to have some more shadowy spots though. Then, breakfast and dinner, where do I even start? This is where the experience was really insufficient. To start with, things would often run out, and food was not always replenished very quickly. Sometimes empty really meant empty (I wanted vanilla mousse, but there just wasn't any left 45 minutes before the end of dinner time). I even started calling the hotel "Hotel Empty", because the platters were so often empty. The offering of especially warm food is limited and there is very little variation from day to day. Also, some of the waiting staff is apparently blind, because on three occasions they only offered us something to drink well after we were done eating, even despite them walking past our table multiple times. Another thing that would happen sometimes is that there were no free tables, so you're standing there with food in your hands (that is getting cold) waiting for a table to become available. All in all, the hotel is decent. There is not much to do in the direct vicinity, but the bus can take you to Cambrils, Salou, Tarragona and more. The rooms are quite nice, so is the pool area, but the dining experience was really below expectations and worse than what I'm used to from other hotels.

Visited slightly out of season so our room wasn't fully equipped for self catering, so can't leave any review for that. Otherwise, fabulous. Lovely clean rooms, maid service was everyday. Pool is great with a lifeguard on duty. Food was spot on, so much choice and plenty of it.

We stayed in a one bed apartment and were looking for a relaxing holiday. It has recently been refreshed. The sofa bed was very comfortable. However, the pool doesn't open until 11am, it is very noisy with the kids club activities. The kitchen isn't well stocked, not even a bottle opener. Breakfast was good. Apartment cleaned daily. Air conditioning was excellent.

Family oriented apart-hotel. Apartments are correct & facilities are nice. We've got half board with breakfast n dinner included, the food is ok, but could be improved. Overall good experience.

It is a 3 start hotel but that's a bit of a stretch. The food is super boring and lacks variety. If you are vegan or vegetarian, please avoid this place at all cost or do not book all inclusive, you'd have no options for meal. We came here as a football group, no Wi-Fi until the morning of checkout! The air con wasn't working and just blowing hot air whichever settings we put on! Bathroom had flush issue, they simply refused to help till next day morning nor changed our room so we ended up doing it ourselves as had no other choice! The location of this place is quite further down from the "live areas", it is quite close to the beach but away from everything else. 5 start for cleaning team though.
