Arrived after midnight, to a deathly quiet hotel, with literally nothing going on around it, we checked in. The block our building was in was at the top of a hill. After walking up the hill and riding in the hot stuffy lift we got to our hot stuffy room only to discover there was no water in the room. We walked back to reception and they informed us there is a vending machine nearby. Unfortunately we had no coins to pay €2.50 for a small bottle of water, and the vending machine only accepted coins. We went to bed after trying to charge our phones. Alas, an uk plug with adapter would not plug into any of the sockets. After a terrible nights sleep in a truly amazing bed we made our way to breakfast. As we walked into the restaurant, not 1 member of staff greeted us, in fact we were ignored completely. First thing we did was get some water from a jug, the water was warm. Unfortunately the hot food we got was not warm. Cold meat counter had square sweaty ham. Fruit counter had tinned fruit. We sat drinking bad coffee. At no time did any member of staff check the temperature of the hot food (which was clearly in the danger zone). I went to reception to ask if this was normal and was met with an angry looking woman who eventually turned to me, but acted like I was disturbing her by having a question. I returned to reception shortly after, hoping for a member of staff who felt customer experience mattered. I found Marcos, who was rude and did not listen. I showed him our adapter which broke when we tried using it, he shrugged. I told him I was shocked that there was no water in the room and he told me “it is not in the contract”. This hotel does not care for its guests. It cares only for extracting money from everyone for everything. The only staff who spoke to us were the night porter who was very friendly and helpful, and the cleaners. Everyone else thinks they are above saying hello or good morning. If you arrive late, be aware they have no shop. You can’t buy tobacco products (not that I smoke) or food and water. I think this is a 3 star hotel, but they haven’t removed the forth star they once deserved. Value for money, this is the worst hotel I have stayed in, anywhere. Avoid like food poisoning, otherwise I am confident you will get food poisoning. Luckily we only had 1 night here
Stayed 2 nights in this hotel. One night very pleasant and one night is terrible. This hotel has no air conditioning in some season. At the first night, when we arrive the room, we have found that the room is very hot with the air conditioning not working. Asked for help from the reception and was told there is no air conditioning at the moment as it is not summer (5 May). At that night even if we open the window the room is so hot and got no airflow and we are sweating and just can’t sleep. However, in the second night (6 May) the air conditioning is suddenly turned on for the whole hotel (maybe too many guest complain about it?) and the experience is completely different and is much more comfortable. We asked about this again when we check out and the hotel reception told us they have only one air-con only can provide heat or cold air, while at the 5/5, there are 50% guest wants heat and 50% want cold so they have to choose one side and obvious I am the side that being sacrificed. And the second night they are able to turn on it that’s the most weird thing. From a customer point of view this is just ridiculous, especially for a newly renovated hotel how they cannot find out this problem before. This is just a very terrible experience and ruined our night as we didn’t expect this from a four star vacation hotel. Besides the air-conditioning problem, other things are just nice and fine. The room is newly renovated, clean and spacious. The breakfast is good and the staff is nice too. We got a surprise birthday champagne too. However the only air-conditioning problem has completely ruined the whole experience no matter how good the other things are. If you are coming in spring or autumn or early summer, avoid this hotel if you are sensitive to heat as there will be no air-conditioning according to them. If you are coming in winter or summer (when they have enough hot or cold weather for the air-conditioning), this is a great and nice place for a vacation.
We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights and we are satisfied in general. Overall, it's a hotel with a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff (receptionist, restaurant staff, cleaning ladies ) are very friendly and helpful. The room where we stayed was clean, very big, and the view from balcony was stunning!! The variety of food was excellent, and the taste was also impeccable. There was not a single thing that I found unpleasant. There are four shuttle buses a day from the hotel to the beach. We wanted to take the 10 o'clock bus, but it was too crowded and we couldn't get on (there were others who couldn't get on either). The bus is too small for the number of people waiting. Therefore, I think it would be a good idea to increase the number of buses, especially during the peak season.
The place is amazing. Not only that everything was spotless, but we had big rooms and quiet all the time. Location is a bit far from the beach or the turistical center, but I really liked that as I went there for some peace and quiet. There are 3 swimming pools (2 are for kids), sauna, gym, indoor pool and all with warm water (we went in July, weather helped a lot). A super good point is the amazing team of people that works there. They made or stay lovely and we felt very well.
The decoration is antiquated, but apart from that the hotel is great, nice staff, clean and spacious bedrooms, good breakfast. We only had dinner once there and we didn't like it, but I can't tell if it was only that night or it's always like that. Close to the beaches and to a boulevard with lots of restaurants and stores. There is a supermarket close by too. Easy parking, but we went in October, don't know how it is during summer.
