  Amazing hostel in the heart of the historic center. The sleeping cubicles are excellent — comfortable, private, and equipped with power outlets and phone chargers. There’s also secure storage with an electric lock, which is very convenient. The bathrooms are consistently clean, and the common areas really stand out. The common room even has a grand piano, which adds a lovely touch, and the kitchen is spacious, well-equipped, and great to use. Highly recommended for both comfort and atmosphere.

  My favorite hostel experience yet! The location is amazing, within walking distance to everything I did during my short weekend trip in downtown Palma. The staff is incredibly friendly and actually upgraded my room for free which was very sweet, and the rooms themselves are very nice—the pod layout allows for more privacy and comfort than you’d normally get at a hostel. Everything looked super clean as well, I saw staff cleaning the bathrooms multiple times during my short stay. Would definitely recommend this hostel, could not have had a better experience.

  Staying here felt like having a fun place to stay at after roaming around the streets of Palma, as a female travelling alone it was very accommodating and fun. They have laundry at a cost, give you bedding, clean sheets, fairly clean and neat, warm showers and storage available for luggage. My highlights had to be the ambience, I made friends, the common room has games and books and everyone on Xmas eve were like a big family playing music, eating and chilling. The staff is great so helpful even when there are hiccups, shoutout to Victor! He’s so sweet and helpful. Definitely check it out considering it’s walking distance to most of the centre.

  I'm traveling a lot and I'm usually staying in hostels. El Josemari is definitely one of my favourite places so far. The 6-bed-female-dorm was perfectly chill, people were using the space with high respect. The wooden "boxes" with the curtain that we can sleep in give real feeling of privacy. The constantly shining small, warm light in the room stops people from using any crazy main lamps while others try to sleep and helps you to find everything even during the night without bothering with a phone. The central heating (20 C) in the room was absolutely fine with me. The bed area had a tiny vault and the built in big storage space could be partially closed. The common areas were regularly cleaned and they are 100% functional. The place didn't use the cheapest options for the basic comfort needs, they provide quality hair dryers, a big towel that during a longer stay the staff offered to change for free. The kitchen was well equipped, I only missed cups that were not made out of plastic (as I don't use such things). But I had my own set. :) The grand piano in the common area is a very nice extra. There's laundry option and luggage storage for absolutely reasonable extra fee. The hostel is in the heart of the city, the location is perfect. The Airport bus stops 7 minutes walk from the place, and the Central Bus, Train and Metro Station is also in less than 10 minutes far. Even though the hostel is in downtown, the streets around were quiet even on a Friday night. As the place doesn't have its own bar, no partying happened on the premise. So this is definitely a great place to stay if you like to rest, being safe and comfortable. People were also working in the common area, so for digital nomads that can be an extra plus. The staff members were all kind and helpful and chose great selection of music for the main common area. :)

  I’m not a seasoned traveller, but I was genuinely impressed with El Josemari Hostel. Everything was very clean and well looked after, and the staff were really kind and welcoming. I felt comfortable the whole time and would happily stay here again.
