I have to admit we were a bit worried because of some reviews, but the hotel pleasantly surprised us. The food selection wasn’t huge, but there was always something tasty to choose from. The afternoon snack by the pool (hot dogs, pizza, hamburgers) was a nice addition. Drinks within the all inclusive were good, although my partner thought they could contain a little more alcohol. The room was small but well equipped – there was a fridge, TV, clothes rack, and a hairdryer. The bed on wheels sometimes moved a little, but it didn’t affect our sleep. Overall, we felt comfortable. A big plus was the friendly and helpful staff as well as the entertainment program, such as karaoke, dance shows and flamenco. The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, and there are shops and restaurants nearby. The bus stop with regular connections to Palma (about every 20 minutes) is also very close. Overall, we rate our stay very positively. The only thing that bothered us occasionally was the behavior of some guests, but of course, that is not the hotel’s fault. We would gladly come back again.
I booked this hotel as a surprise for my partner’s birthday after reading what seemed like great reviews, but unfortunately, our experience was very different. The food was disappointing — often cold with very little choice available. The room itself was quite old-fashioned, though it was at least somewhere to put our heads down at night. We had booked a double room, but instead were given two single beds pushed together, which constantly separated while we were sleeping — not ideal for a couple or elderly. Most of the staff didn’t really interact with us, and on several occasions when we tried to say hello out of politeness, we were ignored. Whether this was due to a language barrier or simply poor service, it made things feel quite uncomfortable. One man at the bar in particular (Gonazalo) was extremely rude, and I’d advise being cautious when ordering drinks in the evening due to the bad attitude. The only thing that made our experience enjoyable was the company from the other guests, who also shared similar complaints and towards the end it just became laughable that everyone we came across was on the same page . Overall, I was honestly embarrassed to have surprised my partner with this trip. I have no idea how this hotel is still receiving 5 stars. It’s such a shame, as I trusted the positive reviews, but they turned out to be very misleading. I would not stay here again.
Me and my husband have just come back from this hotel, must say far from the best I’ve ever stayed in,rooms nothing to be desired, lacking furniture apart from a bed ,reasonably clean, ants in our room as in quite a lot,odd few managed to get in the bed,was reported nothing done until we mentioned it a second time, and then we was handed a spray to do it ourselves, solved the problem for a couple of days then the gradually came back, food well cheap cuts of meat, chick thighs chick drumsticks, the odd piece of chicken breast well I think it was, chips chips and chips, the odd boiled pots the mash once a week looked funny colour, salad was ok ,so we ate out few times even though we where all inclusive, drink obviously was free, very very poor, fizzy drinks wasent fizzy , I could go on forever but I won’t,anyway made the most of the weather and enjoyed the area nice places to eat out there, will not be going back to that hotel, one more thing some of the staff( majority) where ignorant abrupt and no manners whatsoever . But everyone has there own opinion on this hotel, just thought I’d write how I found it .
I have stayed at this hotel twice this year. Clean, comfortable room. Full board is ok. Variety of delicious food. Special thanks to the helpful and kind staff ,who work hard to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. If Mallorca is my destination next year, I will book here again. 🙂 Andi from Hungary
A very nice and reasonably priced hotel. The rooms are always well-renovated and clean. The staff is helpful and courteous. The pool is a bit small but never crowded, and the outdoor ping pong and billiards tables are well-maintained. Entertainment is offered daily, led by Andrea, a friendly and helpful entertainer who knows how to handle vacationers. Palmanova is a quiet place with the opportunity for very interesting and beautiful excursions.
