  I start by saying that we had a very good experience using refugi at Tossals Verds and Son Amer. The same would have been said for Pollenca's Pont Roma refuge were it not for an incident I describe below which happened on the 14th of March. We booked two nights here as it was the end of our hiking trip. Upon checking in, we weren't sure if we wanted to have dinner there on both nights. So we paid for one dinner and agreed to let the lady know in the morning if we wanted dinner the next day. Unfortunately by the time we went to book dinner the next morning, the staff member had changed. He insisted (almost shouting at me) that he "will not prepare any more dinners because the dishwasher had been faulty for 3 weeks". I could have accepted many reasons for refusing a dinner order, but treating clients badly as a protest towards the management is not acceptable, and definitely not in the tone used. It's a pity that we ended on a bad note, the experience of doing a part of GR221 was otherwise great!

  We stayed there before we started the GR 221, the rooms and bathrooms were nice and clean. The staff was also helpful. The location is also quite convenient, close to the bus stop, 15 min walk to Lidl.

  Nice, friendly, clean hostel. We got a mixed dorm for 8 which was quite spacious, we also asked for a vegan breakfast and it was good. The hostel had a 23:00-08:00 curfew and a 10:00-16:00 lockout, which may or may not be problematic for you.

  Initially myself and my friend wanted to give low stars for this place because there were rules like you cannot take your food and shoes in the room and the worst one was that gates close at 11pm and you cannot enter anymore if stuck outside. BUT everything changed when we understood that this is more like a refuge place. The beds were very comfy with great views towards mountains. They have few bycicles for rent. For the price of €3 you can have your laundry washed. Disposed of 2 showers and 2 toilets only, plus breakfast is like €5 but totally not worth it, only if you are really hungry. The place is swarming with solo travellers and you can quickly make friends or engage in conversation in the back garden/terrace that is well fitted with wooden tables and benches. Over all, Is a good place to sleep.

  Very friendly staff who are happy to assist. The Refugi is located along your GR221 route and is even a great place to stop for a coffee and check out the convenient map that is on display. It’s really at the start of the GR221 before you start climbing up to Lluc. The property is very clean and is highly recommended.
