I arrived at Alannia Salou expecting a true “resort” with beach access and scenic views. In reality, it felt more like a family-oriented water/play complex. For the price, I found it overrated. Arrival and parking: The entrance is narrow and not asphalted; when it rains, it gets muddy. Parking is a significant walk from the rooms, and there’s no convenient drop-off area for luggage, so you end up carrying bags a long distance. Accessibility and layout: Reaching the room requires a long, indirect route. Once inside, the layout offers very little privacy. The bathroom is essentially open to the room, and the sink is in the central area—an awkward design for adults sharing the space. Housekeeping: Service was disappointing. In my case, fresh towels were not provided on the second day. Atmosphere: The property seems geared toward families with children, particularly for the pools and water features (which I didn’t use). Overall, this wasn’t a good fit for me. It may suit families focused on kids’ pool activities, but for adults seeking a resort experience with comfort, privacy, and convenient access, I wouldn’t recommend it.
Having organized several events here, I can highly recommend this hotel. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, the rooms are always spotless and well-prepared, and the food is excellent. They are incredibly accommodating to all our requests. Plus, the beach is just a pleasant 15-minute walk away.
We stayed at Alannia Salou at the end of August and beginning of September with my 7-year-old daughter, and we absolutely loved it! The room was clean and comfortable, the territory with palm trees was beautiful, and the large pool with slides was a big highlight. The animation team did a great job, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. In just 10 minutes you can reach a wonderful sandy beach with warm, crystal-clear water. The food was delicious and varied – we really enjoyed every meal. It’s the perfect place for a family holiday with children. We would be more than happy to come back again!
We stayed for 10 days with our family. The entertainment was fantastic. The hotel is beautiful and new. In our room on the first floor, you could hear people walking on the second floor. This was very uncomfortable, as there was a family with children staying on the second floor. We didn't like the food. It was repetitive and not always tasty, and the selection was very limited. If you're staying for two days, it's fine. But if you eat the same thing for 10 days in a row, you get tired. We expected more from the food, especially for the price we paid for our vacation. It's up to you, but we wouldn't return. By the way: hamon for the whole holiday in the hotel we saw 2 times. The rest of the time served food as my husband and I called "do it yourself". But it killed us when instead of cakes and desserts brought chia seeds in yogurt and rice porridge in unclear liquid.
We had a very disappointing stay at Hotel Alannia Salou which completely ruined our holiday. For two consecutive nights extremely loud music was played until around 3:00 a.m.This made it impossible to sleep. A hotel should provide rest and comfort, but this place felt more like a nightclub than accommodation. Because of the lack of sleep over two nights in a row our plans were completely affected. We had already paid in advance for theme park tickets and planned to wake up early, but due to being kept awake until 3 a.m., we arrived very late and lost most of the day. This meant wasted money and a ruined experience. When we complained, management explained that it was Christmas time and that events were planned. However, we were never clearly informed that loud music would continue until such an unreasonable hour, let alone for two nights. Had we known this at the time of booking, we would never have chosen this hotel. If you are looking for peace, rest, or a relaxing stay, avoid this hotel especially during festive periods. Guest comfort is clearly not a priority here.
