The hotel was beautiful and well kept. All inclusive is worth it because although not huge, the buffet was mostly good and tasty. The rooms were very nice and cleaned perfectly. Only thing I'll complain about was the beds and pillows. The beds were very uncomfortable as were the pillows. Otherwise, the overall experience was great. Shout out to most of the staff who were friendly, polite and helpful.

We stayed for 3 nights. We got a room overlooking the pool, spacious enough, the impression was overshadowed by a bed made up of two parts that parted, and the bathroom door did not close until the end ( The bedding and towels did not change. I was pleased with the huge selection of dishes and products at breakfast. The hotel has parking, but for a fee. Yeah, and the internet wasn't great.

Very spacious and clean. The room has air conditioning, a small refrigerator, a kettle, and room service replenishes the tea, coffee, and sugar daily. There's also a TV, so you can watch movies, TV series, and various programs in Spanish) A spacious terrace with a table, chairs, and a clothes dryer is a wonderful place to relax in the evening. Even though we only had breakfast, I can confidently say the food was delicious and varied. There were a variety of baked goods, fruits, vegetables, about six types of cheese and sausage, omelets in various preparations, baked vegetables and potatoes, an English breakfast, cereals and yogurts, tea, coffee, fresh juices, smoothies, and much more. The hotel also has a restaurant, which is incredibly delicious and has very friendly staff. We ate there several times and tried almost everything on the menu; I highly recommend it! There's also a nice bonus for hotel guests: a 10% discount on the entire menu. It was also a delight when, on our last evening during dinner, the chef personally came out to us and served us dessert as a gift and thanked us for choosing their hotel and restaurant ☺️ A wonderful beach with volcanic sand is just five minutes from the hotel. The surrounding views are incredibly beautiful, and there's a promenade for strolls. There's also a huge number of restaurants and cafes with incredibly delicious food and very nice people☺️ I highly recommend visiting this place 🫶🏻

I visited the Alua Tenerife hotel with my girlfriend for 4 nights during our stay on the island. Our accommodation type was the "My Favorite Club Double Ocean View." Unfortunately, upon arrival, we couldn’t use the MFC priority check-in, as all the staff at the reception were already busy, so we still had to wait for quite some time. However, everything was explained to us, and we were also provided with a schedule for breakfast, lunch, and dinner times. The staff were very friendly, always greeting us with a smile. The room was beautiful, with a spacious bathroom, a comfortable bed, and a lovely sea view between two hotels. We were welcomed with champagne, bathrobes with slippers, and a stocked minibar (all MFC amenities are free of charge). However, the minibar is not replenished during your stay, which I found a bit disappointing. All the drinks available in the minibar were also available in the MFC Lounge or at the poolside bar, but they only had certain opening hours. So, if I wanted a cola or beer after midnight on the terrace, I couldn’t get it. The bed linens were changed daily. However, the duvets stored in the closet were noticeably used (sweaty). The food was mostly the same every day. For breakfast, there were eggs, pancakes, pizza, a sweet corner, and fruits and vegetables. The selection was sufficient, but not overly varied. For lunch, the types of meat and sauces rotated throughout the week. Dinner was similar. I had to add some salt to the food, but I preferred that over it being overly salty. The pool and the bar by it were great. The pool was pleasant and large enough for swimming. There were some activities taking place, which I didn’t participate in, but it was really entertaining to watch. The animators were amazing—friendly, pleasant, and funny. The bar staff was also great, with a friendly and welcoming attitude. I wasn’t entirely sure what was included in the all-inclusive package, but it was clearly explained to me through the drink menu at the bar. Drinks like Tequila Sunrise or Sex on the Beach were free, while Mojitos were an extra charge. The drinks were really nice, and the alcohol wasn’t overpowering, which I appreciated. The alcohol was there to enhance the drink, just as I expect. Of course, the bar also had free beer, whisky, and soft drinks like cola. Right next to the bar, there was a snack bar, which served croissants, pizza, onion rings, dressings, etc., all afternoon, and these were also part of the all-inclusive offer. I definitely recommend the hotel. The days we spent there were amazing. The staff were very friendly and kind. The all-inclusive and MFC offerings were fantastic. I would be happy to return here again someday.

We spent 10 nights at The Alua Tenerife in November 2025. On first impressions it was amazing, the reception was stunning and we were directed to our room (1319). Wow what a big room, the balcony was huge and although we paid for a 'pool view' we weren't expecting it to be the 'paddling pool' view. Our first meal in the buffet restaurant was really good but the food went down hill after that. The meat was usually too tough, chicken too dry and lots of fish. We are not fussy eaters but some days it was difficult to put a decent plate of food together. We found the hotel was situated quite a walk from the main town but did venture down to the seafront and walked along to the town. Not a lot to see but we were there for some sun not to shop 🙂. The weather was great until the Wednesday before we left. A storm with torrential rain happened and at 01:15 I was woken by the sound of dripping water, I reached for my phone and it was soaked with water. My Samsung tablet was also wet. The rain had dripped through the ceiling, onto the bed and ran down the wall. My tablet is now no longer working, luckily my phone was in a leather case so didn't get damaged. At 04:00 my husband went to reception to report this and they immediately changed our room to a one bedroomed apartment, in another block. The staff were absolutely wonderful and so helpful but as yet I have heard nothing from the hotel insurance company regarding my claim for the Tablet. I haven't even had confirmation that a claim has been made!! Apart from this incident we had a great stay at the Alua Tenerife and would return again but would not accept room 1319.
