We went there at the end of December last year, and are going again soon. This hotel complex has a lot of greenery around, it feels tropical and one of the outdoor swimming pools is covered with plexiglass what makes it perfect in case the weather outside isn't hot enough for one. The hotel has a free shuttle bus going to Mercadona, large shopping center located by the beach. Food at the breakfast was great as well.

My wife and I first stayed here 9 years ago and really enjoyed our stay. So we decided to come back with a couple of friends and we all had a great time. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a lot on offer, all the hot food is kept warm and refilled regularly along with all of the other food on offer (the coffee is also very good). All the staff from reception, to the restaurant and cleaners are all very friendly and helpful. Although the rooms are feeling a little dated, they are kept clean and have everything that you would need. The pool on the fifth floor is a nice spot to relax and get a drink from the bar and the gardens around the hotel are beautiful and well kept. My only criticism is that the rooms don't have air con, but as there is usually a breeze it isn't a huge issue. The hotel is up a rather steep hill, but this does mean fantastic views and the hotel does provide a bus service to a from Puerto De La Cruz and taxi's are very cheap between the town and hotel if you don't fancy the walk.

Would I come back again? Definitely not. I am grateful for the help I received from the staff — both reception and waiters were lovely 🥰. The gardens are also well maintained and beautiful, which I appreciated. However, the rooms are just not my cup of tea — very outdated. You literally get what you pay for. I found spiders and cobwebs, and honestly, the least said about that, the better. I didn’t even bother to use the wardrobe. What disappointed me most was having to pay a £35 deposit for a fan and iron. In a hotel with no AC, I expected at least a fan to be a basic amenity upon check-in. Overall, I’m thankful for the kindness of the staff and the peaceful garden setting, but the accommodation itself really let it down.

Stayed here at the end of October. Really nice hotel. All the staff are amazing and a delight to deal with. They advised us on different activities to do with our 5 year old son. The room was spotless and the food is absolutely delicious. The only fault is the rooms really do need air conditioning but everything else is perfect.

I wouldn't go again, not worth the price. Our Christmas holiday was a huge disappointment at this hotel and with the travel agency we used. I got food poisoning from the hotel restaurant and the next day there was a mouse running around. There were a lot of cockroaches in our bathroom that they couldn't poison and when we finally got a room change, it was really cold and there was a noisy renovation going on behind the room door. The female staff were nice and helpful, but the "2nd boss" downplayed my feedback and only believed it when my husband came to talk.
