I stayed here for 11 days and it truly felt like home. More than a hostel or a hotel, this place is a beautiful house with rooms, full of warmth and care. I stayed in a single room and everything was excellent — very comfortable and brand new, as the house opened just about a month ago. The hosts are a young couple with great taste, and you can feel it in every detail. The decoration is minimalistic, elegant and cozy. Everything is always very clean, organized and smells amazing. There is daily cleaning, and breakfast is provided from Monday to Friday. The location is very good, the price is great, and they even organized a dinner for the guests to connect, which made the experience even more special. I was really in need of peace during my holidays, and staying here made my time in Tenerife even better than I imagined. I felt safe, relaxed and genuinely at home. I truly loved this house and the people who run it. I’m leaving full of good energy and ready to go back to winter.

This is a unique place. From the outside it doesn’t look great, but it is just behind the boulevard / ocean and on the inside it is great. Nice private rooms (and dorms) some workspaces and a huge living area and kitchen. On work days there is a lovely lady who cleans and prepares the breakfast. Outside in the patio there is a workout area and long table to drink and eat with each other. The vibe is especially good because the owners are involved and organize trips and dinners and sport clases. Also our local volunteer manager Malika was great! Will be back next year.

I had a great experience staying at bucio coliving. The property is modern, clean, and well-designed, with thoughtfully arranged private rooms and comfortable shared areas. The atmosphere is friendly and respectful, making it easy to feel at home while still enjoying privacy. Tania is professional, approachable, and responsive, which made the move-in process smooth and stress-free. Being a new space, everything feels fresh and well maintained, and the amenities provided cover everything needed for comfortable day-to-day living. Karen made breakfast every morning which was very handy. The location is also very convenient, with good access to local shops and transport. Overall, this is an excellent option for anyone looking for a well-managed, welcoming co-living environment. I would confidently recommend it and would be happy to stay again.

Pros: - There was a mix of people on “workation” and those on holiday, so was always someone around to hang out with - Karen has great energy, and comes every weekday to reset the place so it never feels unclean or untidy - There are plenty of activities you can opt into. While I was there I saw two hike days, a trip to a swim spot, yoga, calisthenics, home-cooked paella night, an away “family” meal and wine tasting. - Bathrooms with showers you can adjust (rather than the 6-foot high static ones), always hot water and good pressure. Also FYI it was the first place I stayed where you can flush toilet paper - Loved my comfortable room (7) Cons: - Tenerife drain smell occasionally comes from one of the bathrooms, which seeps into the bedroom next to it (7) on a bad day - It didn’t affect me, but when the wifi went out for a day I did feel for the people who were working and having to scramble for a solution - As with all shared spaces, the experience is shaped by who you’re with. Almost everyone was great, but there were a couple of people who soured the experience a few times

My stay at BUCIO was better than I ever expected. The owners are incredibly welcoming; from day one, you're treated like a friend. I especially appreciated that Tania and her husband really take the time to show you the island at its best. They organize excursions, evenings out, and celebrations, so you quickly feel like you're part of Canarian life and discover places you'd never find as a tourist. So, if you're looking for the perfect blend of work (the conditions here are perfect), a friendly atmosphere, and a true taste of island life, BUCIO is the place for you. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone. Thank you for everything you do! Hasta luego, Stefanie
