Stayed there with my wife 1st week February. Very nice, well maintained establishment. Cozy feeling with your own Villa in an enclosed green "garden". Good & friendly customer service. A lot of families with small children but still a very calm experience. The local restaurant runs a buffe´ concept on breakfasts and dinners, the latter with different themes each day such as italian, mexican etc. The dishes served could absolutely be improved in taste. Personally, I would rather prefer a fixed menu with a focus on making them as good as possible. We ended up buying groceries in a supermarket and prepared our own food in our own kitchen. But all in all, I would absolutely recommend this place.
This hotel is really beautiful and safe feeling. Everything is nice and clean and everyone has these cute little bungalow type places to stay in. It feels nice and relaxing and private too. If you have young children you will love it here. They play games, can have fun in the pools safely and have inflatables too for them to bounce around on. There are lots of activities to keep them happy and give you a little rest! If, like us, however you don't have kids, the location of this place and focus on family friendly safe relaxation and home comforts may be underwhelming to you. The location is sort of sandwiched between a gold course that you physically and legally can't walk around or across and main roads like dual carriageways, so you need to know you can't easily or in any relaxed kind of way walk from here down to the front or the beach. We googled mapped it before booking and made an error that it was possible when realistically it's not. You can easily get a cab down if you're a family and back up for about €8 - but we quickly realised this was not the right place for us. We spoke with the hotel who were really great and understanding and they helped us get our money back and switch to a hotel down on the front in the heart of last Americas not in-land. I should hasten to add, the food was awesome at the restaurant and the staff were all really lovely. If you're normally in bed for 10pm you'll relax deeply at this place because the pools are ace, the massages on site at the spa, the drinks, the perks all lovely - but if you want the bars or to be walking around exploring, this is not for you. I hope this review is helpful for many of you!
It’s our first family holiday in a kid-friendly hotel as our son is just old enough to appreciate it. We have not been disappointed. It’s pristinely clean, members of staff are friendly, a few sandpits, a kiddy pool, entertainment for everyone. And the location is excellent. We hired a car and we can get to a lot of places within 10-15 minute drive. I wouldn’t however recommend going all-inclusive at this place. We booked breakfast and we paid for a couple of dinners. Food here is just fine. It’s tasty enough, but it’s lacking a bit of love, a bit of refinement. Thankfully there are well equipped kitchens here and plenty of places to eat out nearby.
Kind of brilliant - but loosing its edge? We’ve been twice now (a rarity for us). Private bungalow/apartments - two bedrooms, lounge and a Kitchen (so perfect for us and the kids) - with a restaurant, pool, kids entertainment and mini-supermarket on site. Sounds perfect - and it is pretty dam good - especially at the price. It’s beginning to feel tired though - it needs a lick of paint and a winter spruce up. The kitchen felt like an afterthought (or maybe most the normal guests don’t want to cook) - it’s well equipped with appliances - but minimum pans/knives/plates to actually be able to cook…. Restaurant does the job - staff are brilliant - but not “our thing” - I don’t really want a magician/variety act as I eat. Pools are great. So are all the other touches for the kids - though arguably our 11 year old was too old for most of it….
Spent a week at Green Garden Resort with my wife, daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter 👶🏻 Fantastic facilities and extremely family friendly environment Two main outdoor swimming pools (righthand pool always seemed warmer 🙄🤷♂️) small child's pool, plenty of outdoor space and sun loungers around the pool. Great choice of food throughout the day and theme night every night along with entertainment every evening 🥓🍳🥩🍗🍖 Plenty of daytime entertainment with various water exercises, face painting, water polo and the fantastic foam pool party 🥳 We had 2 separate villas (although you can sleep 4 people per villa) perfect location just off the pool area and extremely close to the restaurant area although all of the villas are an extremely short walk to all amenities. All of the staff are fantastic, extremely friendly and helpful especially the ladies in the restaurant / bar area (they make a mean Mojito 🍹😉🤪) Can highly recommend if traveling as or with family but if you want a quiet child free zone I'd recommend booking somewhere else 👍
