I couldn’t say enough positive things about this hotel. We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed a bit longer than we had originally planned 😅 The staff are wonderful, so kind and friendly- very helpful to us (with our two small children). The location is fantastic, and the hotel is beautifully decorated. The rooftop gym, hot tub and pool is a lovely way to relax, and the park outside is great with children also. The breakfast is great and worth getting also. We loved our stay and we will definitely return 🙂
The hotel offers a good price-to-quality ratio. The room was advertised as having a balcony, but it was more of a small balcony where you could only stand and look at the windows of the neighboring building. Daily cleaning is excellent. Breakfast is fantastic. The hotel does not provide bathrobes or slippers. There is a great service — a welcome treat for guests in the lobby in front of the reception, featuring a large carafe of water, fruits, and pastries. Unfortunately, the carafe was always empty during my week-long stay, no matter how many times I approached it. It's a nice gesture, but unfortunately, it's not well executed.
The hotel lobby looks appropriate for a 4-star hotel, but unfortunately the rest of the property does not live up to that standard. Seems like this hotel prioritises the looks over functionality. We requested a quiet room and were given a very small room with a tiny window facing the courtyard. While it was quiet in that sense, the room was located right next to the elevator, so we were repeatedly woken up by guests passing by. The room was unbearably hot even in January. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were of very poor quality, practically falling apart. The bathroom had very poor ventilation and the sink was poorly designed: it was impossible to wash your hands without water spilling everywhere. Storage space for clothes was almost non-existent. Additionally, the rooftop jacuzzi was out of service during our stay, which was disappointing. The only real positive aspect of this hotel is its excellent location next to a beautiful park. Unfortunately, given all the issues, it is definitely not worth the price.
The hotel is relatively affordable and looks decent, but it’s not a 4 star hotel - assume you’re going to stay in a 3 star hotel. The sink was clogged, the bathroom is not a separate room but an enclosed area in partially see through glass, the rooms are small and the floors are old, the doors have poor sound isolation (there’s even light coming through the slit at the bottom which is almost 1cm high), the room service system doesn’t work (you have to call after 25 minutes of not receiving morning coffee so they check the machine and bring it), etc. Positives are wonderful location next to the park - if you can, get a room facing the park, and open air gym on top floor. I might be a bit harsh in my rating but the things that bother guests are really not that difficult or expensive to fix, whoever is in charge just didn’t think yet that it’s worth it…
Lovely hotel near city centre. Just across the road from a beautiful park. A bit like the Tardis. Very deceptive from the outside but enormous within. Choice of rooms. Some with a view of the park. Some quieter. Lovely seating areas beautifully furnished. Highly recommended.
