  I highly recommend the goods lift to the right side of the main entrance of this hotel. I was walking by one night in winter when the hotel was closed and it was a really good ride down to the basement and back, a little dark and scary too. Better than a lot of rides at the theme park. The security guard did a good job telling me to go away, but he didn’t know that I’d already rode the lift before he found me

  Quite good hotel near Port aventura park. Quite easy to get in. The rooms are clean and quite but a bit old. Everything works well, just not as luxury as I initially thought. Reminds me some American motels :) however, the reception is good, the breakfast is also quite good. It's not very convenient to move from reception to the hotel house if you have a big suitcase, but anyway, it was enjoyable. Everything is really good. Don't give 5 stars because it's a bit overpriced for its design in the rooms. But other than that, it's all great. They so don't have transfer to port aventura park, which is about 15 minutes walk from the hotel (though the hotel stay includes its tickets).

  The rooms are older and they do not provide enough towels. The restraints were closed even though the signs said they were to be open. We had multiple issues with our room. The bed is comfortable and the water pressure is great. For the price though, I would expect the rooms to be better and more clean.

  We had a really enjoyable stay at PortAventura Hotel Caribe. The location was perfect — right next to the theme park and only about a 15-minute walk into Salou, which was super convenient. Our room was right by the pool, which made it easy to go for a quick swim whenever we wanted. Dinner was excellent with plenty of food options, and the staff were always available and helpful. The layout of the hotel itself was lovely and really added to the experience. On the downside, the pool cleaning could have been better, as it didn’t seem very consistent. For families, it would have been nice to have some English TV shows for kids, and when we visited in mid-August there wasn’t any kids’ entertainment on offer. The kids’ food options were a bit limited too, though that may have been more noticeable because our little one is quite a fussy eater. Overall, it’s a great hotel with lots of positives, and despite a few areas that could be improved, we would definitely come back again.

  I struggle to understand the 4-star review of this hotel, given the absence of acoustic insulation of the rooms, and the overall lack of management / organisation of the staff. I understand most people come to a theme park expecting to queue for hours in the park, but I don’t understand queueing 30min everyday to eat in the hotel buffet restaurant (after having reserved service slots online) - a shame since the food is not all bad. Just don’t get any meat.
