The rooms were in a reasonable condition. They were clean and presentable. We sat by the pool on the only day we had sun. When we went for dinner we were 1hour and 10 minutes. On our return we had a notice telling us off for reserving the beds. The lifeguard came over and quite rudely told me off as we were over 1 hour. Yet we witnessed at least 8 sun beds with towels on unoccupied for at least 3 hours and no notice was taken. The food was very substandard and the cook who was cooking chicken on the service used the same tongs for serving cooked chicken to guests as he had been using on the raw chicken. My wife and I left our food on the plate to go to waste. (This is a serious issue.) The staff were very polite throughout our stay. A big shoutout to Pablo who was very nice and attentive. We are unable to comment on the entertainment as it started too late in the evening for us. Overall we had a reasonable stay but the afore mentioned issues spoilt an otherwise Great stay.

Very nice. Rooms and hotel are not super high class but enough for a short break. We aren't the type to stare at the finishings and wallpaper. Food was very good, staff nice, good hairdressers downstairs. Beds and room very good. The shower is very good. More like a karcher presser washer. Location is very good. Parking is abit of a pain but the hotel will tell you about the secret parking near the lighthouse. It's 10 mins wall and free.

where do i start.. well the room, hallway, lifts are all outdated, seriously needs a refurbishment. the room has no plug sockets near the bed which is unforgivable really, sound proofing is bad, the room has bare minimums. i booked a balcony room with sea view and the view is average with a huge tree blocking my view on 4th floor(asked to change to a higher floor but said they were full). you can hear the wind all night long. the food is not bad with many options and deserts. i booked for full board and you have to pay for drinks. no parking at the hotel so if you had a car you’d struggle finding a spot to park as every street is full. i had to park at Be Live Orotava hotel and supermarket nearby(not cheap) €1.50 an hour. location is very good, right in the centre of the town everything is accessible by foot. weather on north side is complete opposite to south side. i wouldn’t recommend staying in north side. would i recommend this hotel? no

I was a little hesitant at first. But cannot fault this hotel. Its not the most plush hotel. But for what it is they do it well. Breakfast the omlette was super good. Sometimes I cant eat eggs, but i managed to have a omlette each morning and not feel sick after, so this was good. Dinner also, I don't eat a lot of meat, so the fish and veg options were good for me. On NYE they put on a super spread. I had 2 of the lobster tail starters (devine). Complementary champagne cocktail on arrival and complementary drinks with meal. People got dressed up, sequin dresses everywhere. There was a party to welcome in the New Year. We went to the centre where the municipal put on a live concert and then fireworks on the beach all free. It was fantastic and then joined the party at the hotel after. The view from our room 1005 was stunning. The balcony received the sun all day. And although on 21° it felt like 28° there. Staff are super accommodating. I arrived with the flu and wanted my sheets changed after 3 days when I started to feel better. Staff used Google translate to understand my needs and did it without any concerns. Did I mention the location. Slap bang in the middle of everything. But somehow not overwhelming. Ha ha there even a Maccie Ds downstairs. I went in the first night as we had no kettle and I needed lemsip. Oh the next day I asked for a kettle and one was delivered to my room! Lots of walking and if you left the promenade lots of hills. But I enjoyed myself much more that I imagined I would. Big shout out to Carmen in the beauty salon. Who gave me a fantastic massage. I may visit again as I am now torn between the white sandy beaches of the south and the calmness and amazing views of the North......

Stayed there for a week payed over £100 pound for a upgrade on the room with a balcony. I heard all other rooms were terrible old and needed a refurb with just a small window. The hotel is very old and run down and floors stairs lifts windows etc filthy. The toilet in the reception area very old run down dark and the smell was aurfull Stayal urine. From the advertising of the hotel it's looks fabulous, but very old and tatty, it should be a 3* at a push. I have never had such cheep under cooked /burnt food. I actually brick my tooth on the greasy burnt piece of bacon bacon. The food was all cheep food. I ve been in 4* hotels before where we had big joints of lamb beef gamon and pork. One night there was veile, then when I looked it was mince made into balls in a greasy tomato sauce..Evey night the were stews sausage, (looked red like the breakfast left overs) fish (floating in a greasy sauce) with pork and turkey all around the restaurant. In all the hotels I've been to there is a menu just before you enter the restaurant of the meals for lunch and evening dinner. I felt we were given left overs, from the previous meal made into a recipe. The last night we were there, there was no joints of meat etc. There was burnt chicken wings and over cooked chicken nuggets.. I would never recamend this chain of hotels to anyone at all. I have never wrote a review of any holiday before, but the food entertainment and cleanliness was really very poor cartanly not what I expected. We eat out every night. And other holiday makers said they did the same. Fabulous restaurant around the area, catering for all nations
