Rooms are assigned on availability not by preference. Reception staff are friendly.(3's)☆ Kitchen staff: The only female service attendant is not hygienically clean. She was holding and placing eating utensils on the parts you put in your mouth and holding a cleaning table sponge on the other hand, hence knife, fork and spoons are contaminated by her handling. Very poor hygiene awareness. (0☆'s) Rooms are madeup daily and towels changed. Bathroom cleanliness can be improved i.e. hairs vacummed from the floors. (1☆) Location: Hotel located on top of a steep hill with great view of Puerto de la Cruz if your lucky to get a room on the south or west side 2d or 3d floors. (2☆'s) Swimming pool located on 3d floor main reception building with great view. (4☆'s) Car parking is by luck if you find one. (0☆)

I've spend 7 the most beautiful days in Puerto de la Cruz. The Hotel is located on a hill which gives an extroridnary view, the near area is very nice and quiet. My room was located in a main building, pretty small with a balcony, clean - daily cleaning, fresh towels and toiletries. Whole staff is very kind, professional, ready to help out whenever you need them. I felt so comfortable there. The food was AMAZING, everything fresh, absolutely delicious, everyday something else which gave you plenty of options for breakfast and dinner. The pool was on the smaller side but clean so the swim was always an option. If you're looking for something cozy, that's he place to be. It really made me feel at home and I'm looking forward to be back!

STAFF: On arrival we had the most grumpiest staff member on shift grey hair and glasses on. Me and my boyfriend arrived late and asked where could we get food and he ignored us, I asked for a big room and was given a dirty shoe box B103 and be aware no lifts in the hotel so your carrying heavy suitcases that weigh 17kg up the stairs so imagine been on 3rd floor, that was on the outer blocks of the hotel as the main hotel they claimed it to be full but yet barley anyone in the hotel they just could not be bothered to move us. I said have epilepsy as well and couldn't really do stairs but again they could not be bothered to move us even with medical conditions. The other staff members where not up to scratch either i dont know if it was because of the language barrier or what but as a hotel receptionist myself in the UK with my guests who do not speak English i use google translate to interact with my guests, these didn't even bother. The other guy on reception on a night i asked to book a taxi all he did was call they did not pick up and he said not available but yet i walk down the road to ask another hotel and he was kind enough to book one with in seconds. So i give a shout out to Apartamentos Los Dragos Del Norte for there kind customer service not here. FOOD; The food was not edible most nights i mean who wants to eat black inked rice and fish that looks like to be in sick, no one wants to eat chips every night either. Breakfast was edible and that's about it they dont think to put pancakes or a verity on just full English breakfast but yet again it was a 2 star hotel so couldn't expect anything more. ROOM; I had to take dettol anti bacterial wipes as working in a hotel myself i wasn't expecting the room to be spotless but i did not expect tooth paste marks all over the glass bathroom shelf. A yellow toilet seat that has probably not been changed since it got put on when opened. It was filthy my white socks turned black the floor was that dirty cockroaches in the room and cobwebs and dust all over i could not stop sneezing. Be aware no air con we asked for a fan to be told 80 euros for 5 nights to be told we would only get 10 euro back, so we found a electric shop not far away and paid 12.50 each so 25 euros for week and got our moneys worth. Facilities 0 no kettle in the room, bar was never open only when dining room was open so could not sit with coffee or a glass of wine. Had no aircon and if your in b103 no balcony LOCATION: In a bad location no shops near by and beach 20 mins away but was expecting that, if your disabled this is not the hotel for you hills and hills they don't stop so steep to. Room B103 bad location bin wagon wakes you up at 6am and shouting of the locals walking by. OVER ALL: only good thing about this place was comfy beds i was not expecting it to be spectacular as its 2 star but the customer service could be better as someone who works in a 3 star hotel in uk customer service costs nothing. And i will not be returning to this establishment not that they be bothered the looks they gave me and my partner half of time just for asking simple things like late check out and taxis.

A lovely little hotel. I purposely chose a small hotel so that it wouldn't be overrun with kids and it wasn't. Breakfast buffet was plentiful, and fresh fruit was available as well as usual cooked items and pastries. Dinner was available at (I believe) 15€ but I didn't have it. My room was basic but clean, didn't have the worst view from my balcony. Cleaner came daily but I put the "do not disturb" sign on the door every other day as there was no need to clean every day as I was on my own. Neighbouring hotel was very noisy at night until midnight with loud music.
