I was quite skeptical about coming to this hotel due to the reviews, but I must say it was a fantastic stay! The hotel was always clean, smelling nice and tidy. The food was amazing, so much choice! 😍. The room was tidy and clean with everything what was needed. Now for the best part, the staff! They could not do enough for you, they were happy, friendly and worked exceptionally hard. They even heard it was my sons 4th birthday and arranged for a cake to come to our dinner table. 2 staff members really stood out who went the extra mile which was Dani and Carlos from the pizzeria bar and restaurant. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend 👌. It is also very close to all amenities and the bus stops to travel to other towns nearby or to Palma. Also, we used the car rental service opposite which was also extremely easy and friendly. Thank you all at Tui Suneo Santa Ponsa Park.
Hello, For people on a budget, the hotel is ok. The rooms are enough space for 2 people. The bathroom could be better maintained, with some repairs and insisting on cleanliness. There's not much to watch on TV, few channels and a pretty bad signal. The Wifi connection leaves something to be desired. Our towels and sheets were changed every 2 days and that's because we insisted and were "careful". I don't recommend rooms 130-133 because of the noise made by the motors from the ventilation ducts (I think from the kitchen). They started at 6:30-6:50 in the morning and stopped at 21:30-21:50 in the evening. Avoid these rooms, especially 132. You can't sit on the balcony, the noise drives you crazy. The staff is generally nice, the food is varied, tasty and sufficient. There could be a few more tables outside, by the pool. And the quality of the tourists matters, unfortunately some misunderstand "being on vacation", a lot of disrespect, excessive alcohol, a lot of noise, uneducated children. In the future we will not opt for this hotel again.
I spent a week at TUI Suneo / Globales Santa Ponsa Park in October. The hotel is accessible and friendly for people with disabilities, which is a big plus – lifts, ramps and common areas are well designed. Another advantage is the great location – only about a 5-minute walk to the beach, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I had an all-inclusive package, and the staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. The restaurant and cleaning staff worked hard and always had a smile. Unfortunately, there was one exception – probably a manager, a short man (around 160 cm) usually seen in a blazer with two phones. I greeted him several times, but he never replied and always looked grumpy, which in my opinion sets a poor example for the rest of the team. The rooms were clean and tidy, and towels and bed linen were changed regularly. However, some wear and tear is clearly visible – broken sockets, headboards not attached to the wall, and old silicone in the bathrooms and showers that really needs replacing. TV channels are very limited, sometimes they work, sometimes there’s nothing to watch. Wi-Fi is also unreliable, with a weak signal and frequent disconnections. As for food, it was tasty and fresh, with a good variety of dishes, although the menu tends to repeat after a few days. The restaurant service is well-organised and tables are cleaned quickly. On the downside, parking costs €10 per day plus a deposit, with no clear explanation of what the deposit is for. This feels unnecessary since only two parking spaces were occupied during my stay. In October, the weather was mixed, and the pool water was very cold, which might be disappointing for those hoping to swim. The pool area is shared with a neighbouring hotel, so it can get quite crowded during the season. Overall, I’d say this is a 3-star hotel rather than a 4-star one. It has many positives – friendly staff (apart from one exception), cleanliness, good food, and an excellent location near the beach – but also a few maintenance and management issues that need attention. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 4 Main advantages: accessible for disabled guests, close to the beach, good food, cleanliness Weak points: poor Wi-Fi, outdated room fittings, paid parking
Positives: - close to the beach it’s literally a 5 minute walk. Close to shops and restaurants / bars around. - hotel staff really friendly could not fault at all! - kids club was brilliant, my daughter loved it! (Although it could be earlier than 8:30 as that’s quite late for children and for longer than 30 minutes) Negatives: - food is the same every night, it’s lukewarm and not a lot of options for kids. - kids pool had tiles coming off the floor, very dangerous and my daughter slipped on them. - definitely not a 4* hotel, 3* at best. - rooms are dated, no wardrobe doors, bathrooms are absolutely disgusting! Housekeeping really do not clean your rooms well I don’t think they change the sheets just re-make the bed. The bathroom basin is slanted so water goes all over the floor. The shower enclosure is too small and the floor gets soaking wet and slippery. I stayed here before Covid and it was better, I won’t return.
We are leaving tomorrow and have had a great week here. The staff have been lovely and friendly. The restaurant is very clean and plenty of food. You can find something to eat even if your a fussy eater. The rooms are good and we have all slept well. Would recommend this hotel and location. The pool has been absolutely lovely with the heat we have had here. Xxx
