  Worst hotel stay ever. !! Elevator was clostrafobic at best and the stairs were like climbing a mountain !!! No human being to talk or complain to, just a key pad. !!!!!

  First room they put us in was dirty, bedding was stained and felt damp. we complained to the receptionist and he immediately moved us to a bigger better room however in the new room the lock was temperamental and we had to fight it everytime to lock the door from outside. also all the room seemed to have maybe previously had termites since all the woodwork had been slightly destroyed and was crumbling. the location is good for food and the supermarket but the pool in the hotel was full of bugs and bird feathers and the pool trim was covered in bird poop.

  Not recommended. Awful experience, careless staff. Reception is not in the same building, but on the opposite side of the road. We had to go back and forth, four times, and it took about 2 hours and quite an effort, while finally we managed to settle. Details below. First, the check-in took about 30 minutes, there's a huge counter, but with only one receptionist. We got our keys, headed straight to the room, hoping for getting a shower, but we experienced that there's barely any water pressure in the tap and in the shower, and the water temperature is oscillating between cold and hot, no matter what we set. Further, the toilet tank is not filling up at all. The room was smelling of cigarette which was the smallest problem among all. We went back to the reception, telling them our concerns. They seemed not to be surprised and did not care about the smell at all, explicitly stated that no alternative room, as they're fully booked, but they can send maintenance immediately. So we went back to the room, waiting another 30 minutes for the staff, to get there, who managed to fix the pressure in the tap and the shower, but told us fixing the toilet is only possible the next day. Can you imagine? We walked back to the reception, again. This time, suprisingly turned out, that there's another room, recently painted, that might smell a bit, but at least water block is working. So we had to go back to the original room, pack up our stuff again, and move to the new room, and go back to the reception one more time, to drop the old keys. They took the keys with a pokerface, we haven't got even a single apologizing word from the receptionist.

  I chose this hostel because it seemed a reasonable price, had a pool, is close to the beach and some restaurants. My room was very big, had a table, microwave, plates, cups, cutlery and even a little fridge! There was a beautiful balcony and the beds are very soft. The woman at reception is very kind and helpful, she works very hard. The lady who cleans it, is very friendly. Across the road are a few little places you can eat and drink, the supermarkets are around a 10-minute walk away. I would love to stay here again in the future, it was a great experience.

  Staff were great.Moved us to our favourite room with a view.We were there 9 nights this year and 4 nights last year.Lovely view.We prefer older style rooms rather than clinical,hospital type hotels. Breakfasts set us up for the day,no complaints,very happy. But car hire from Recordgo was a bad experience Avoid them.
