Excellent hotel that ticked all the boxes for us - we left planning to return, which we have NEVER done before!! Firstly, the location was perfect for us - away from the crazy of the nearby resorts (but accessible if you want that) and sea front location with the expected multiuse path along the sea front for walks and views. There are some shops, bars and restaurants within a short walk. The all-inclusive nature of the hotel meant that there was no discernible “class system” with different coloured wrist bands. This allowed the provision of soft drinks, hot drinks, beer and wine to be self-service, and very efficient. Additional drink selection from the bars was good and queues moved quickly. (We would have liked to see a margarita on the cocktail menu, but there were good alternatives) Plenty of sun beds and a choice of areas to sit. Pools were great (although the infinity pool was a bit chilly, and thus mostly empty) - it was still stunning to look at, with the sea beyond! One thing to note, the pool towels were very thin, so we were glad we had brought our own for comfort on the sunbeds. There was plenty of choice at the restaurants, and good vegetarian options at the main restaurant. (I’m not sure how vegan-friendly it is, but I wasn’t looking). We particularly enjoyed the Mandalay restaurant with its eclectic mix of asian food! (Book via the app - which also shows what’s on each day) Staff were very friendly, and our room was cleaned very efficiently every morning. The animation team were enthusiastic, drumming up enthusiasm for the games and activities. The nightly entertainment was varied, and the early acts could be enjoyed from the outside part of the restaurant, which was a bonus for us. We also appreciated the Card room with square tables for playing games (although there were not so many tables). We had a great time here, and hope to go back again soon!!

Lovely short break in a great hotel. We had a lovely room overlooking both the pool and sea view. All meals were lovely and never overcrowded. Beer and wine were on tap for you to pour yourself, meaning bar queues were minimal. All the staff were smiling. The location is fine if you want to stay in the hotel, but a little out of the way if you don’t.

A lovely Hotel, only half hour from airport in a quiet area. There is a promenade directly outside the resort, accessible through a gate, nice for walking, but no bars , restaurants along it. The rooms are modern, bright and cleaned every day. Entertainment nightly so if a light sleeper you might ask for a room further away, although, that said it is all finished by 10.30pm approx. Super for families with heated pools, including one very shallow and warm and a kids club. Staff are very friendly. The only down side is there is no al a carte, it's all buffet style dining and food can sometimes not be hot enough. There is a big choice though, Italian, Asian, barbecue, etc. With 'light' wine, beer and cocktails offered. I would return.

Hotel is very clean & well kept. All staff were cheerful, welcoming & helpful. Room was large & clean, housekeeping staff were very efficient. Overall no complaints. Entertainment shows were of a good standard & the entertainment crew were enthusiastic without being pushy. Pools were clean, bar service excellent & food was also good. Always plenty of room & sunbeds availabe. Adult only areas and self serve drinks were a plus. Probably one of the best 4 star rated hotels I have stayed in & I would happily return.

We went in January, so a little cooler in the evenings but still pleasant. Clean, modern hotel with a wide variety of food in numerous places to eat. Something for everyone I would say. The staff were all friendly, good waiting and bar staff, really makes the difference. Special thanks to Torres at the beach bar, always smiling and joking with everyone, as well as being a great barman! We booked short notice and only had the option of a two bedroom apartment, it was clean and modern. Housekeeping is a good service. Plenty of water bottles to take around with you or to the apartment. Plenty of bars and drinks stations. The location is not near a lot of shops or bars, there is a small shopping precinct and a street with a few restaurants and bars nearby. There is also a small beach nearby, but that's about it. We would go back to Buenavista. Highly recommend.
