  Review – Hotel SB Ciutat Tarragona The hotel is a bit outdated – it’s been a while since it felt truly modern. One major inconvenience was the lack of power outlets by the bed. The room itself was okay, but nothing special. On the positive side, the parking was good and the location is excellent. Overall, it’s fine for a night, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

  Not a good experience for us. We stayed there for one night. The hotel's location is good, 20 minutes from the beach and 15 minutes from the city center. The positive point is the parking (17€ per day). However, for a 4-star hotel, it's not up to standard... in our room, the sink was completely clogged, there was mold in the bathroom, there were strange stains on the walls and bedside lamps, and the window handle was broken. The worst part? The cleaning ladies knocked on our door at 11:01 a.m. to ask us to leave so they could clean the room, even though checkout wasn't until noon... Not a great way to start the day. It's not worth 4 stars. We've stayed at other 2-star hotels that were much better.

  I had a very disappointing stay at Hotel SB Ciutat Tarragona. The room we were given was dirty, and the bathroom was in unacceptable condition. The toilet hadn’t even been properly cleaned and had pee all over it. The air conditioning didn’t work, which made the room extremely uncomfortable, especially at night. The towels looked dirty, worn out, very poor quality. On top of that, the lift service was frustrating, with very long waits every time. Overall, this hotel did not meet even the most basic standards of cleanliness, comfort, or service. I cannot recommend it, not even for a single night.

  The room was spacious enough and clean. The main bed had a very hard and uncomfortable mattress. The second bed had an even worse mattress. The AC did not work and the room was too hot to sleep comfortably. The gym is not a gym. No space, no weights, on running machine, stationary bike and elliptical. The pool is on the roof, but very small. The concierge told us that parking would be 17€. It was 36€ instead. Not at all satisfied with the service and helpfulness of front desk staff.

  I made an online reservation and got the confirmation by email that everything was confirmed. Once we arrived at the hotel, we had to wait 30 mins because the are understaffed. we were told that our reservation was cancelled. We were puzzled and showed them the confirmation email. The staff then said there is info in the fine print saying the reservation has to be paid online to be really confirmed even though they sent an email saying RESERVATION CONFIRMED. We were left scrambling to look for another hotel and wasted our only day in the city. Really messy and amateur customer service.
