There is no welcome drink provided. Access to the spa is not included and requires an additional fee. Housekeeping comes even when we put out the “do not disturb / no cleaning” sign, which is inconvenient. The fruit served at dinner is of low quality. The fitness room is poorly equipped, not very clean, and has no music. There is no ventilation system or toilet brush in the bathroom, and the toilet door is made of glass, which is not appropriate and offers little privacy. The infinity pool is very nice and beautiful, and the view from the terrace is excellent. However, at the other pools, children often behave poorly. jumping into the pool, splashing water, and screaming. The car rental guy is frequently not at the desk during his working hours. Towel rental costs €1 despite being advertised as free, and a €15 deposit is also required. Apart from the fruit, the food is generally good, and there is a decent variety of dishes to choose from.

This was my first week-long stay, and I loved the spa. The steam room and sauna weren't very large, so I was worried about whether I'd be able to relax, but luckily there weren't many guests, so I was able to enjoy it to the fullest. The jacuzzi was always full, so everyone wanted to try it, but I enjoyed the strong jets in the pool, which had a jacuzzi-like section. The sauna and steam room were both moderately hot, and while it may be a little cooler than spas on the European mainland, it was just right for me. It was a shame that no one used towels in the sauna, which worried me about hygiene. The changing rooms weren't very clean, but I think that's due to poor manners. The room was perfectly normal. It was right by the ocean, so the view from my room was great. The music in the pool was a little loud, but I accepted it. I tend to stay indoors because I bring work with me on vacation, but most guests were at the beach. It was warm in December, so the temperature was perfectly fine for swimming. Be careful, as the waves get a little higher in the afternoon. The food, especially the lunch, was poor quality.

The hotel was ok, I would suggest it is a 3 star rather than 4,. We did ask to move rooms as the noise from the “extremely” close Veronica strip was a bit much (completely on us for booking, it wasn’t a secret it was near by) the team were great, they moved us to a room further back with a beautiful terrace, view and private loungers, this room was lovely and near the really beautiful infinity pool. The infinity pool area was lovely, banana trees, bar and plenty of loungers. The main hotel bar was nice also. The restaurant and location is what would stop me from returning. Location wise we have a personal preference of Adeje. The restaurant was abysmal, food not particularly warm, cooked meat was usually one guy and a huge line of people waiting, the food was not a 4 star standard, the same food every day, bland and so difficult to actually get hot meat served at the same time we couldn’t go sit and eat together, one of us was often still waiting for food to be cooked. We chose to go else where and pay to eat. food was not 4 star in any which way, no drinks even water included with lunch or dinner. The staff were all lovely it’s more of a hotel management standards issue. It is €15 to have a towel, Non refundable, so €30 for us, we went and brought 2 for €8. We would usually get a towel for a refundable deposit. In short we won’t return due to walking out straight into Veronica’s and the limited, repeated, poor food.

It is the dirtiest hotel i have ever seen! And i've seen many! Sticky dirt on the floor, blond hair, stains of wine on the bed cover and extremely streaky mirrors and window, broken trash bin The rooms are very basic! Very! not even a toilet brush for a 4 star hotel seems unbelievable Our room was cluttered with no space to move around due to a sofa bed taking all the free space Extremely noisy in the evening because of the music and some drunken guests (which i understand the hotel cannt control). Heavy smell of burnt oil and food from the restos downstairs. Certainly not worth 4 stars But the location is great! Some of the receptionists are really polite and especially the manager (John) is a real asset!

Thoroughly enjoyed the 10 days i spent in the hotel troya. The staff are very hard working and all together amazing and very approachable. Throughout my stay I felt very welcome and nothing was a trouble. The rooms were cleaned daily and the food was lovely every day. The site in general is kept to a good high standard and is a very relaxing venue to unwind . I give 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 second time staying at this hotel. Will be back
