  The most unfriendly, inhospitable staff I've ever come across. Would almost be funny if we hadn't paid so much to stay here. If Faulty Towers was cast with bitter old ladies, who spent the majority of their time outside smoking. On the hottest day of the year the fan in our non-air conditioned room broke and we had to ask twice for them to change it, also eye rolling and in-jokes to a Spanish couple while they were "helping " us. They don't even put soap in the bathroom!!!

  The only good things I can say about this hostel is that it's in a good location and there's a nice view from the window. Other than that, no one there speaks English, the bathroom smelled horrible and so did the very small room we got. The bed is uncomfortable, and the reception is actually a weird coffee shop. After one night we cancelled our reservation and moved to another hotel.

  We were very fortunate to get room 15 with fantastic views out onto the square,room was very basic but clean and functional,some noise outside from being in a central location on a Saturday night which is to be expected. Check in was very straight forward,beds were comfortable etc, Overall a very pleasant stay, Many thanks Mark

  dropped in for lunch on 15th Aug, on a very hot day. Wonderful atmosphere and ambience with great air con and music. The food was excellent with real home made french fries. The service was good once we started chatting to waitress. Great value for money. defo recommend - a real oasis having tramped round the tourist areas of this incredible historic city centre.
