  Hotel Príncipe Paz, Tenerife I had a good stay at Hotel Príncipe Paz overall. The biggest advantage of this hotel is definitely the location — it’s right in the heart of Santa Cruz, surrounded by cafés, shops, parks, and everything you might need. It really makes getting around the city incredibly easy, and for that alone the hotel deserves full marks. The staff were friendly enough and things ran smoothly during my stay. The room was comfortable, and it worked well as a base for a few days in the city. There are, however, a couple of areas where the hotel could make some improvements. The showers could benefit from better water pressure or a bit of modernisation, and the breakfast experience felt slightly dated. There are quite a few touch points at the buffet where guests have to uncover food items themselves, and it doesn’t feel the most hygienic setup, so refining that would make a big difference. Still, the stay was pleasant, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the location truly couldn’t be better. I’d happily consider staying again mainly thanks to how convenient and central it is, and with a few small updates the overall experience could be even stronger.

  Bad communication. I have stayed here in the past and thought it was a lovely hotel but they are so bad with their communication. Please be careful if you get contacted by WhatsApp asking you to click on a link to confirm your booking or it will get cancelled (it will look very real as the message I received had the details of my booking). I tried to contact the hotel both through booking.com and through their website, never received any reply from them, no reassurance or any interest in trying to find out what happened, so I cancelled my booking. I know this breach of data might not be the hotel's fault but I think not trying to communicate with your client about this incident or the lack of reply to messages is poor practice. Please take this as constructive feedback. Update to the reply from the hotel: My email has not been hacked, thank goodness. And I know that I shouldn't reply to unwanted messages from scammers. My complaint was not about that but about your lack of communication. The hotel does not reply to any messages through Booking.com and neither replied to my email, that's were my disappointment lies. Thank you for at least replying to this feedback.

  I called and the receptionist said that he speaks no English. After I proceeded with my not so bad spanish he ended the service. This happened at 05.12.2025, 19:00 - maybe the Management is interested to get rid of super bad Personal. I am not a picky person but this is so disrespectul.

  Very disappointed with the room 310. First of all smell cigarette very bad, shower head broken, shower courtain dirty, towels are old and worn , linen with spots. Breakfast was okay if you dont have expectations.
