Going home today after a 12 night stay here and overall we’ve had a great time. The reception staff upon arrival are friendly but note that you cannot get access to your room until 4pm but they have a luggage locker and you can get AI drinks and food immediately. The rooms themselves are basic but comfortable and spacious though there’s not much wardrobe space and only one drawer for clothes etc. there is a free safety deposit box which is straightforward to use. The shower in the bathroom is run from the rooms hot water heater so one to bear in mind if there are more than 2 people in the room as the hot water doesn’t last very long. Lots of plug sockets to charge devices but the wi-fi is only available in the reception area. Room cleaning is done every other day. The food is good but repetitive and the breakfasts have something for everyone. Salads are good and there is usually an international menu each evening which might not look great but try it, it’s tasty. The pool is large and quite deep at the bar side but it’s also cold but probably quite refreshing in summer. The bars have a good selection of drinks and the beer is Amstel which is nice and cold. All drinks are served in paper cups though, whether round the pool or in the entertainment room. The hotel is in a great location with plenty of shops within walking distance and the beach is just a five/ten minute walk but it’s downhill just so you know. Not sure if I’d return here but we’ve had a lovely time and I would recommend it to anyone.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Stay at Laguna Park 1 – Pleasantly Surprised We’ve just returned from a stay at Laguna Park 1 in Tenerife and, honestly, we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were far more modern than we expected — clean, comfortable, and well laid out. The apartments were serviced every second day, which kept everything fresh without being intrusive. It felt well managed. Breakfast was very good. My personal favourite was the porridge with honey (simple but spot on), but there was plenty of choice — full cooked breakfast options, omelettes made to order, pastries, fruit, and of course churros, which were a big hit with the kids. During the day there were snacks made on demand — nuggets, hot dogs, burgers, chips — ideal if you just want something easy by the pool. The hotel staff were polite and professional throughout. One thing that genuinely impressed me: my wife was questioned by security one evening. It actually made me smile — it shows they take security seriously rather than just letting anyone wander around. In today’s world, that’s reassuring. Overall, a relaxed and enjoyable stay. Good value, clean accommodation, decent food, and proper security. We would happily return.
I stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days with friends. Overall we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is good value for money. The rooms were decent. Had basic things like a fridge, kettle, and toaster. Breakfast options were really good but dinner choices for vegetarians were limited. The Wi-Fi only works in the reception area and kitchen not in the hotel rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Having read the previous reviews, we were quite worried about our booking. Having just spent the past week here, I can confirm that this is in-fact a great place to stay for the price you pay. It’s a 3 star hotel, but I have stayed in 4 stars that aren’t any better. The rooms are spacious with massive balconies. The dinner is limited, but as a family of 4 we always found something to eat. For lunch they have a BBQ , could probably do with some salad for this, but still was great. The location is central and there is lots of shops, restaurants just outside the door. I would recommend the Maxi catamaran trip they offer for about 27 euro half that for kids. It’s a fantastic day out. Also Go karting with a free bus service outside the hotel. Beaches nearby are brilliant. Please don’t panic about the dodgy reviews as the place is grand and the staff are lovely.
Food is average at best, avoid booking all inclusive as it’s not entirely worth the price. Alcohol is not the best, and a lot of drinks and ice creams etc are not included in the all inclusive package. Rooms are clean and modern, and staff are all friendly and very helpful. Location is great and very central to a lot of things, especially the Siam park bus stop, beach and restaurants. We had trouble with the shower getting hot water, and the wifi is very bad and only connects in reception. The pool is clean but very cold in the winter months as it isn’t heated. Safe included in the rooms and the terrace was clean and spacious. Housekeeping were great and kept the room stocked and clean. Good for the price you pay so long as you don’t expect 5* service
