This hostel was amazing and I truly enjoyed my stay. If you come here, you will meet a lot of people, so it’s perfect especially for solo travelers who want to socialize and not feel alone. The atmosphere is friendly, open, and full of good vibes. The staff is incredibly kind, fun, and welcoming, always ready to help and make your stay better. Honestly, I have nothing negative to say about this place. It met 100% of my expectations, and I will definitely come back.

I booked a week-long stay in Tenerife. The hotel’s policy allowed free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival, afterwards they charge whole amount. I booked my travel about 10 days in advance and I canceled the reservation just a few hours past the deadline. Unfortunately, due to health reasons, I was unable to travel. I contacted the hotel through Booking, and then directly – politely, explaining my situation and apologizing. I asked if it was possible to get a partial refund or at least transfer the amount paid to another date as a credit. For a long time, there was complete lack of communication – no one answered the phone, no one replied to messages, including WhatsApp. After many attempts, I finally received a short, arrogant, and rude reply, ending with the ironic “best regards,” which in this situation felt like a complete joke. I understand policies and rules, but human decency in unforeseen situations really exists – just not here. This place only cares about money, and clients are treated as problems, not people. The hostel service is unfriendly, unresponsive, and lacks basic customer service. Zero flexibility, zero empathy, zero communication. I strongly do not recommend it and advise anyone to think very carefully before booking – if any problem arises, you will be completely on your own. I am strongly disappointed.

What is good about this hostel? Maybe the location close to the airport and buses so you can run away from this place. What is bad about this hostel? Ooooh… First of all, it’s not a building, it’s an old unrenovated one storrey house with rooftop which was dirty with couches being wet and left in sun and rain all the time. Everyone from street can see what’s going on inside of the room. But not only that, since it’s a house, you are actually sharing every sound with everybody in house. So there is no privacy at all (not even in flexible hostel criteria). Where do you change then? In mixed room?! It’s a surf hostel with no surf beaches around. Bathrooms are poorly equipped, smelly and moldy with no room to put your stuff on. There are 2 mixed bathrooms for everybody with small one toilette. For 24 people sleeping in hostel… In morning I would wake up earlier to get my place in bathroom, otherwise I couldn’t even change myself for some time. But don’t worry nearby diving shop’s loud generators will be your morning alarm anyway. Beds are squeaky, uncomfortable with one small non-chalant curtain. Lockers are falling apart and they are so small, absolutely nothing can fit, so I slept with my valuables around my neck… I put my small luggage under bed since common storage or something is non-existing - it came out dirty and full of sand dust after few days. The whole hostel was full of sand. They try to clean as much as they can, hands down host lady was very nice, but many people didn’t know how to behave - one girl showered before me with no curtain and made flood for me. Towels are beach towels… because why not to be so easy going. It hasn’t been renovated at all, actually some old doors are still existing but they are just covered by the blankets so nobody uses them for entering. Windows are broken, and can’t be opened or closed without strong force and loud sound. We came in high season, so we got what we got. It was hard to find the proper substitute accomodation. Reviews might give you false impression it’s good… sadly I listened to them. We stayed in mixed room, which could be hit or miss… This hostel attracted some very unusual crowd. I travel a lot and I have seen everything, but apparently not everything. Since a lot of sailings start in nearby Las Galletas, expect there will be a lot of crowd spending nights before going to cruise. When we came first night, there was big group of certain tourists and they didn’t know how to behave. Guy in our room wokes up 2 am in the morning with lights, being drunk, smelly and loud laughing about it saying he never has been in hostel (ha?). Next night other kid in room started drunk vomiting for 3 hours in the morning and vomited all over the floor and uncontrollably almost on my friend in room. Do I need to mention none of them showered for days? Smell of room went into my things. It’s not up to hostel, but that’s group of people to expect in this place to be honest! Even in party hostels I never got this. From the night we came in, I was counting the days when will I leave. I didn’t even bother to make a comment, because I saw how they shrugged shoulders to people and they didn’t return a euro in much serious situations. I just tried to sleep there and leave immediatelly. Yes, when you are travelling, especially including hostels, you have to make few arrangments and close your eyes to some things, but this was Jailhouse experience. Sadly no Elvis singing. I wish I can put zero stars. Never will I stay in another hostel in my life, I’m retiring from my hostel life because of this hostel experience.

This place was just a quick stop by on my Canaries journey, but I was really touched by the kindness of the staff, one of the workers - Boro was so generous with her help and really went out of her way to help me find solutions to the problems I had. Aurora was also incredibly kind and these girls really made a quick stop in a little town the best service I have had at any hostel in my 6 month trip so far.

I had a truly pleasant holiday here. The staff were always friendly and helpful, greeting me with a smile every time. One of the things I really appreciated was the peaceful atmosphere—after 23:00, there’s quiet time, which shows the hostel’s respect for rest and comfort. These small details really made my stay easy and enjoyable. The rooftop is absolutely beautiful—perfect for a relaxed breakfast or dinner, with a peaceful view. Even if you’re traveling solo, it’s easy to meet people and connect. There’s always someone to talk to or share a moment with, which made me feel welcome. A special highlight: I had booked a transfer to the airport, and the owners at reception were more worried than I was about me catching my flight on time. That kind of care and attention really touched me. The location is great—just a short walk from the ocean, and close to local life if you want to experience the real Tenerife. The hostel itself is always clean and well-kept. The location is also great—not right in the busy center, but that’s actually a plus. There’s a bus stop just a 3-minute walk away, with connections to almost anywhere on the island. I recommend downloading the Ten-Movil app in advance—it helps you save money and makes using public transport easy and efficient. Thank you for the thoughtful hospitality—I truly felt cared for here.
