Worst hygiene ever! Whoever cleaned the room 111 from 24-29 September 2025 needs to be fired. Every single day I had black hair on fresh towels and sheets, bear in mind I’m bleach blonde myself. Absolutely disgusting. I spent hours each day collecting all that hair only for them to drop more the day after. It would’ve been better if cleaning staff didn’t come at all as after every visit there was tons of black hair everywhere. It’s like they put it on on purpose. How blind can u be to leave hair like this all over “fresh” sheets and towels. There was someone’s hair wrapped around the shower hose and mould on tiles. The sink and shower don’t drain properly and are clogged up. U only get small thin bathroom towels which were covered in hair everyday they were replaced. The walls are paper thin , you can hear everything especially other people flushing their toilets. The beds have no proper bed frame and base , they are on wheels! The the single beds kept sliding away on wheels from each other every time u move. U get no proper duvet , only bed sheet to cover yourself and a shitty thin blanket covered in bobbles and again in people’s hair as it doesn’t get washed. U can’t even put it inside a duvet cover as u just get a sheet with it. Even pillow covers are hollow with two holes so the dirty pillow covered in hair constantly comes out of it There is absolutely no drinking water given and no kettle in the room , the mini fridge has no drinks in and is not working. U werent even shown to your room let alone having your suitcase moved. Only given the key and u have to find the room yourself , not even a tour of the place. WiFi only works in certain parts of the room. Breakfast was very limited and not many options, not great quality of food but at least no food poisoning The only positive I have is the size of the room , I was given a spacious room however my friends who came with me paid the same price for the same room got 2-3 times smaller rooms. Reception lady was rude and unhelpful
This hotel is advertised as four stars, but unfortunately my experience was far from that standard. Future guests should be aware of several issues before booking. Cleanliness was a recurring concern — I found hair on the towels, mold in the bathroom, and dirty communal areas. The shower drain in my room was clogged and remained so even after I reported it. The bed had no proper frame, squeaked and shifted constantly, and the fridge provided neither cooling nor complimentary water. There was also no kettle available, which made even a simple cup of tea impossible. Service was equally disappointing. The reception staff were curt and unhelpful, pointing vaguely in the direction of rooms instead of guiding guests — which can mean wandering through multiple floors or blocks with luggage. Requests for assistance were met with indifference. Breakfast options were extremely limited, not what you would expect from a four-star property. Despite being marketed as non-smoking, the balcony doors are not airtight, so smoke from neighboring rooms easily drifts in. Overall, while the hotel may look appealing on the surface, the reality is poor maintenance, subpar service, and a lack of basic amenities. I would advise future guests to manage expectations or consider alternative accommodation if they are seeking a true four-star experience.
struggles to meet even basic standards. Guests should be warned: the rooms and facilities are poorly maintained, and service is dismissive at best. Towels arrived with hair on them, mold was present in the bathroom, and the shower drain stayed clogged even after reporting it. The bed was little more than a squeaky, shifting frame, the fridge didn’t cool, and no kettle or even complimentary water was provided. The so-called non-smoking rooms are anything but — smoke from other balconies seeps straight in. Communal areas are dirty, breakfast is minimal, and staff are unhelpful to the point of rudeness, pointing guests vaguely toward their rooms instead of offering proper guidance. This is not a four-star experience; it feels neglected and misrepresented. If you value cleanliness, comfort, or professional service, I strongly recommend choosing another hotel. Reply to the below response: with all due (dis)respect, you couldn't pay me to stay at this flithy place! 😊 I hope this place gets shut as there are multiple hygiene and safety concerns that need addressing. The star rating needs to be reviewed again so future guests dont get deceived into spending their hard earned money at this place
This hotel is a disaster there’s no kinder way to describe it. When you book there is no explanation for the fact that the old Madrigal hotel has been implemented in the larger Ona hotel next to it! This makes everything more complicated and difficult when it comes to using the different facilities at the hotel. The lobby personnel makes absolutely no effort to explain the situation either. The breakfast was probably the worst i have ever experienced in Mallorca, not the food itself even though it wasn’t great, more the fact that it’s not a enough space for everyone to eat and no cutlery , glasses and coffee cups??!! Complete chaos! The list goes on but it’s probably best to cut it short here. Avoid this hotel for goodness sake.
Not a 4 star hotel. Very dissapointing stay. Rude staff. This was not our first time in Mallorca, and before that we were in a 3 star hotel which was far better than this. The room key system was down almost our whole holiday, which would have been fine, if the staff hadn’t lie about the problem. Also when we arrived the receptionist told us there is an issue, but didn’t say what issue. Didn’t even give a card to the electricity, just showed us the room, and left us. So we had to go down again just so we could get electricity. They always told us, it will be fixed the next day. But the biggest liar was the hotel director who told us to complain through the website we booked this hotel. They will decide if we get compensation, not them. Which now we know is a lie, cause the complaint is submitted to them by the travelling website. So they decide. Which they decided they won’t give any. :) Such honest people. There were other issues also, the cleaning staff didn’t care if we were inside ( with Clearly a sign outside) they just came in. Maybe before hiring staff, teach them these basic things. Also the rooms were dirty, the towels often had strange spots. When the card system problem was solved, then the water was not working in some rooms. We didn’t pay for the lack of service ( not even basic services was given, which is not a lot). Stay away from this hotel if you want to relax on your holiday.
